I recently rented a 10x10 storage unit. It's perfect. The staff was great. I love that you had carts available to help move my stuff in, it made it so much quicker and easier. ***** from me.

I have been keeping my items here for over a year now and I will continue to do so thanks to Matthew’s customer service. He had so much patience with me. I lost the key to my unit, he had no problem cutting off my old one and helping me set up my combination lock. Matthew also made sure to offer me their new rates which helped me save a few hundred dollars by paying up front for the year. I also love this location because the units are inside, so I know my items will be safe no matter the weather and it’s always clean.

Haven’t used the facility long but am already impressed with the cleanliness and customer service. Matthew was a huge help and made the move in process painless. So far so good!

When I started my storage unit rental I got a special of rent 3 months get 3 months free and October was my last free month and they charged me for it which they did give me a credit when I called. I also noticed that my balance was $113 when I asked about that I was told that was for the next month and I was sent a price increase letter funny thing is though I was not told my rate would increase $34 a month after the initial 6 months and that should have been explained when I started renting the unit.

UPDATED 09/22/23I filed an ADA complaint with the Michigan Department of Civil Rights against this companyUPDATED 09/18/23THE ELEVATOR IS STILL BROKENI still can’t move my stuff into my new place. Today another associate, DISTRICT LEADER JASON LESNIOWSKI, told me to physically move all my stuff out going up & down the stairs. I am medically incapable of doing that. I got upset and it triggered one of my medical conditions, in which he kept threatening to disconnect the call if I didn’t calm down, which at that point I explained I was in an episode and I medically couldn’t stop what I was doing. He ended up disconnecting the call anyways. He was the one who helped me last month (when another employee told me to do something I can’t do) by giving my September’s rent for free. I’m so upset by this and there seems to be no resolution. So I contacted several new stations…hopefully someone steps up and helps all of us out.Original Review made in August 2023THEIR ONLY ELEVATOR HAS BEEN BROKEN THE ENTIRE MONTH OF AUGUST. I’ve had a unit here for over a year. Haven’t had any issues until this month, August 2023, when trying to move out of the unit. People who have units on the 2nd floor cannot use the elevators to move items. Every time this month that I’ve shown up and called, the elevator is still broken. The current MANAGER MATTHEW said the State of Michigan broke it during the inspection. I have medical conditions, including spinal issues that I am disabled with and he told me to just move my stuff using the stairs. I ended up filing a complaint with their head office and was told someone would reach out in 24-48 hours to resolve the issue. Still waiting on a resolution. They are still trying to lease out 2nd floor units at this location on their website even though you cannot access them by elevator “until further notice”.

NO ELEVATOR IN SERVIVE FOR A MONTH! One elevator for the entire building. One set of stairs up. This is impossible. The number given below is to the standard company voice call maze. Thats not helpful. I wonder what's going on.

The elevators have been out of service for over a month. When calling the office to gain more info I was told to call 888-storage, as the location isn’t given any information on when the elevator will be fixed that it was a corporate matter. The 888 number is essentially the same number that I initially called for this location. As other customers have stated it’s frustrating and patrons should be provided with some compensation for lack of access to their items. It’s a tricky situation since the logical thing would be to move to another storage facility, however, I’m not going to pay movers 2-3x the amount of money to move my belongings out of storage using the steps from a second floor storage space.Really frustrating, and some definitive answers on when the elevator will be fixed and some sort of compensation would be helpful to have

As a customer, I expect to be updated on key facility features that directly impact my ability to access my storage unit. The elevator, an essential amenity for those of us with units on the upper floors, has been out of service for a month now. What makes this situation particularly vexing is the lack of communication from the management team regarding when this issue will be resolved.Despite my attempts to gain clarity on the matter, the management, particularly the facility manager, has shown a notable lack of professionalism and concern. He does not know when it will be fixed. It's concerning to note that the owner often sports a 'Cookies' backpack, a brand commonly associated with cannabis culture. While personal choices are just that – personal, when running a business, projecting a professional image is crucial, especially when there are evident operational issues at hand.Accommodations or alternative solutions have not been offered, leaving customers like myself in a challenging position. For a facility that is entrusted with the safekeeping of personal belongings, I believe there is a concomitant responsibility to maintain not only the physical infrastructure but also a high standard of customer service. Regrettably, they fall short on both counts.I sincerely hope that potential customers consider this experience when choosing a storage solution, and that the management team takes the necessary actions to rectify the situation and restore trust.

TERRIBLE!!! The only elevator has been out for a month. The people on the second floor have un usable units because they can’t get most stuff in or out the unit. The funny part is that they don’t even know when it’s gonna be fixed. They had a sign that had a promised date it would be fixed. The date has passed and the sign is gone and the elevator is still down. But they are obviously still collecting rent from the people on the upper units. They should accommodate the people on the upper floors with a free month or 2. They haven’t prioritized the issue at all.

All the positive reviews for this facility have to be fake. I find it hard to believe that anyone could have a satisfactory experience here. The elevator has been out of order for over a month, and there's no communication from management about when it will be fixed. This leaves those of us with units on the 2nd floor with a MAJOR INCONVENIENCE. Due to this, I've had to store items in my garage—items that are too large and heavy to carry up the stairs. The primary reason I rented a unit was to avoid cluttering my garage. The least the facility could do is offer refunds or credits to those affected by this ongoing inconvenience.

If I could give less than one star I would. Where to begin… The manager, Matt, of this store called me three days prior to my confirmed reservation date wondering when I was going to check in and failed to mention the non working elevators of a month even though he knew I had a reservation for a unit in the second floor? This should have been my first sign that this place and its employees are extremely unorganized. Then when I made my reservation on the phone with Anita, she told me that they have loading dock and a freight elevator to move everything. When I got to the facility on my reservation date, yes they have a loading dock but no freight elevator. In fact to add to how horrible this place is, they have no working elevator at all for at least a month in the entire building. So I drove through the night from Iowa to move my stuff into here, paid for movers to move my furniture in here, the manager Matt who again called me three days early failed to mention they have no working elevators. So after I carried all my small stuff up to my unit, when I confronted Matt about the elevator situation his answer to me on when it would be fixed was “I don’t know”. A storage facility with no working elevator??? A manager who walked into work this morning with his “Cookies”back pack on so you know his priorities are at the local cannabis dispensary vs his customers has no answers?? So now I have to eat the cost of the movers because these idiots have no customer service skills and no solid feasible answers?? DO NOT RENT HERE!!!

Professional all the time. Takes time to answer all my questions. Storage unit building is always clean. I feel safe every time I am in the building.
