Karen and Lauren were exceptional. We came in two days ago and applied for a personal loan. We were explained our options within detail an great communication. Lauren got all of our information and in two days Karen was reaching out stating we were approved. I arrived at the branch to receive my debit card and had a folder waiting for me with my name on it with all related documents. If you are looking for a credit union, I HIGHLY recommend LMCU

“I have been a member for years. Yesterday I called to open a joint account with my partner, who is also a long-time member. The representative I spoke with was unable to answer my questions and kept placing me on hold to ask someone else. After multiple holds, I politely asked to speak directly with the person she was consulting. She told me it was the manager and assured me the manager would call me back within a few minutes. That call never came.
Because of this experience, my partner and I will be closing our accounts and moving them to an institution that values honesty, loyalty, and customer service. I recommend others consider doing the same.”

Called 20 mins before closing and had very rude and disrespectful customer service. Could have politely refused service instead of letting me know you want to go home early. Will go out of my way to avoid going back to this location.

I have been an account holder at Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) since 2022, and my experience has been nothing short of excellent! From managing my savings and CD accounts to their mortgage services, everything has run smoothly.
Special shout-out to Matt Adler, our mortgage officer, who secured an amazing rate for our first home in 2022. He was always responsive to any questions we had through the portal and E-mail, making the process stress-free.
Every time I visit a branch, the staff is consistently friendly and helpful. LMCU provides top-notch customer service, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to bank here. Highly recommend!
