Robert is the man! Had a beautiful pair of model 1155s that I had been breaking in, and ended up not fitting correctly. He went over different ways to correct the fit as well as talking about the technical aspects of the footwear. Asked important questions to match up the correct boot for my line of work. He is extremely knowledgeable AND friendly. We ended up sizing down half a size and I am confident and comfortable in my boots thanks to him. I will gladly drive by 10 other shoe stores to have his expertise and give him my business now and in the future. Big thank you Robert.

I've been to this store twice in the last year. Once to get laces and looking at new boots, employee never asked if I needed help. Walked to the counter and got new laces and left. Thought maybe he's having a bad day. Came in today to buy new boots, one person in the store other than me. A third person walks in and they take care of him not me. I walked out. Called and asked for the manager, told him the story from both times and he seemed like he didn't care. I will never come to this store again. Customer service is terrible.

Don't waste your money on these overpriced pieces of garbage! $300 for a pair of boots that don't even last a year. And they refuse to stand behind their trash product. You can buy a pair of cheap boots at Walmart for $50 that will last longer than these. Redwing is depending on customers remembering their product and reputation of old, because once you waste your money on these worthless boots, you'll never spend another dollar with them. Seriously, spend your money on any other brand of work boot, Brunt, Cat, even Walmart's Bramha boots are better.

After wasting a trip to a local shoe repair shop in Clawson (google said they were open within their posted business hours, but when I got there, their closed sign was up, & no one answered the phone), I googled for another place to find shoe sole/heel taps & Red Wing in Sterling Heights came up. Because of all the positive reviews, I decided to call them to make sure they had what I needed. Jason answered my call, & He advised they did have sole/heel taps & that they would install them for me so I drove to their store. When I got there, Robert waited on me. He showed me the product I needed, & he installed them on my dress shoes for me. The price was very affordable, & Robert & Jason are both very friendly. Robert provided excellent customer service. It's crazy that sole/heel taps for shoes have become so hard to find these days, but for those who need them, I highly recommend this place!

Easy access, easy parking, super friendly and informative staff, you can tell they actually care about you, it was refreshing. Their selection is fantastic and they have a clearance rack.

My extremely hardworking fiancé was in desperate need of a new pair of boots.. he works 80-100 hours weekly as a concrete finisher so his boots had seen much better days.. I wanted to surprise him with a new pair but had no idea what boots he usually buys, I called the store and spoke with Robert.. he was so extremely helpful, knowledgeable and so so kind. I told him how my car is in the shop right now but my fiancé needed these boots urgently so I needed to have them ordered asap so that would arrive as fast as possible.
Robert then offered to personally deliver the boots to my home so that my fiancé could go to work tomorrow with a comfortable, warm pair of boots.
Wonderful customer service and beyond thoughtful of Robert. This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had at any store. Thank you Robert!

You get what you pay for. These boots are extremely well made. The customer service is second to none. Plus they have a good selection of US made products.
