My husband and I have been going. To that speedway over 20 years. And they have a very rude cashier that was screaming at my husband for no reason she was very rude and now said he’s banned and she will call the cops if he ever comes back this women needs to be fired asap and a apology needs to be made to my husband.

Last night around 8pm this person visited the Speedway at Vandyke and Riverland and attempted to buy xxxx.
Im a 44 year old woman who looks like a 44 year old woman.
The person at the counter said I looked too young and asked for my ID. I thought they were joking around but of course I handed it over. Then I thought he was doubling down on the joke and told.me my ID was fake.
But it was no joke. He literally refused me a sale for my very real, very valid, and very legitimate Michigan drivers license and made me leave.
So I went back today figuring morning would have management to show them and let them know how this person is trained improperly and they were even ruder than the first guy. Wouldn't look at the license at all. Just said "have a nice day mam" over and over and louder and louder.
Speedway VanDyke and Riverland. Store 2333.
This situation is exactly why I will never return.

If you need beer amongst your items, go somewhere else. They don't accept valid michigan licenses as identification for purchase and aren't educated about new designs or security functions or what the federal real ID act means.

Slowest service was standing in line for 20 mins!!! If there’s 2 people then one should ring people up and the other for lottery! So ridiculous! Workers need better training!

There was line all the way back to the cooler. I forgot to put in my alternate ID because the cashier forgot to ask for my Speedy rewards card (Should be first thing said) so I missed out on $2.50 off ea packs of Marlboro Lights, I bought 2 = $5.00. I came back in to get this corrected and my cashier was on break and an old lady took over. She didn't know how to void that receipt and re-ring the order with the rewards card so I could get my $5.00. I called her out and said, "How do you not understand? I then left without my money and said, "I won't be back." She wouldn't even get a manager. If she was the manager, she didn't listen and then do the right thing. Horrible customer service by the older lady. It took ten minutes for the line to clear and there was another longer line when I walked out 2nd time.
Saturday April 13th about 5-6.
This is why I have no record of this transaction on my speedy card and she didn't give me a receipt at all.

The employees are always so professional and polite. Tony if your in the area. I recommend this location.

Stopped to get some gas as I was running a little low. Busy location and I could see why. It's in a prime location and convenient. It has a lot of variety of things to offer besides gas. Snacks, food, pop, chips and cigarettes.While I was at thus location I encountered a representative named Stacy or Stacey. She had such a great attitude and pleasant personality. A lot of people as they leaving the building were saying bye to her. That told me a lot and mine own experience with was awesome. She is a great asset to Speedway and that location.I have to apologize to her though. My mouth and brain were not running together. I accidentally said to Stacy that she was to nice...my bad...what I wanted to say...it was a pleasure to meet an employee who has such a awesome attitude towards her job/position and offers great customer service to her customers and I bet fellow employees.I will stop there for now on to fill up my tank on my way to my favorite hobby shop.Highly recommend coming here for gas, a pop or a snack.I wanted to say to...Stacy also brought to my attention on how easy it would be for me to log in with my phone number for the Speedy card. I didn't have it on my person so she instructed me to entered my phone number on a pad and shevsaved me 11 cents on the gallon which I was grateful for.They accept cash, credit cards, debit cards. They do also now have a self checkout line to so one can get in and out faster.

This is my go to gas station ⛽️ when I need that fossil fuel and one of my places I love getting my scratch offs at and keep the good work

Fast with big variety Not bad overall. Good prices, never busy and friendly staff. Never had to wait more than a few minutes. Staff seems to be professional and courteous. A rarity these days. Highly recommended for gas or a few groceries. Management seems swift to solve issues fast.

The older, thin woman with longish gray hair is very rude and snappy. I understand if a person is having a bad day so I give the benefit of the doubt but the subtle disrespect she showed was unbecoming and I would like to point that out. I still got what I wanted out of the store though so I'll give 5 stars.
