They literally have almost everything you could want in the way of alcoholic beverages. I'm talking beer, wine, and hard liquor by the truck load. Prices are standard-legal.Checkout was quick and easy with 4 lanes being open. There are plenty of people stocking the shelves too, so if you need help, there's always someone available... Just ask.I capped my spending at $150 but I could easily have tripled that.If you like booze... Go there.5 stars.

Sorry, long review: will never go here again. My sister and I visited here, last weekend. We entered the store, and notice a station setup to our left, with greeters, no one said anything. My sister and I proceeded to do our shopping and were approached by the sample station worker. She asked if we would like to sample some wine, we said sure. She said, 'great, that's one ticket'. My sister and I were confused and asked, 'a ticket?'. The woman said, "yes you should've gotten a ticket once you came in the door. There's greeters to check your ID, to give you 3 tickets to sample throughout the store". My sister and I looked at each other and said wow, turned to the lady, and said, "No one said anything to use when we came through the door." Not only that, I noticed that we my sister and I entered, a woman was in front of us by a little distance, and about time my sister and I got through the door, the woman was walking away from the booth. And also, behind my sister and I was a man that walked in, and he was stopped. So I guess those who are black weren't able to get 'checked in", because of that reason. The woman and the guy that entered before and after, my sister and I, were not black. She and I will just go to the Canadian border from now on, where one, everything is A LOT cheaper anyway, and 2, we don't have to run into such racism there, like we did here at Total Wine. No reason for us to be skipped over like that. Smh.

Note: There is a strictly enforced STORE policy. Michigan does not require non-purchasers to show ID just because one person is buying, that's only the store policy. Because this is NOT the law and people will expectedly assume the law is enough, please consider checking every customer ID upon entry, not at the register after they have spent time shopping. The sign behind the cashier (after shopping) doesn't imply everyone will be carded. The under 21 allowed sign on the door under the hours is also misleading. Children and "young" teens are permitted and also can handle the alcohol if there is a parent with them, which is a very mixed message. What they mean is it has to be crystal clear that you are the child of the person with you, not another adult, so you can't be 16y with a 25y but you can be 10y with a 25y. It also doesn't apply/answer the more than 1 person in your party policy, please add another sign for that policy to help us customers. It's clear that you have a great selection but this overreaching policy and the way the cashier acted ruins it. Cashier Wendy was hell bent on embarrassing me for not knowing their STORE policy since I was accompanying another person who was purchasing. I (mid-30 year old) would have just stayed home had that been clear. The manager who came over after the big deal she made was great, so thank you Mr. Manager. Would have rather Wendy just denied us the purchase instead instead of attempting to embarrass us and after not getting her way continuing to make comments and not let it go.

Careful delivering alcohol for this place. Great chance you'll have to bring it back since their customers think it's ok to order alcohol & not be there to receive it. They'll think you'll break the law for them like their customers state they do all the time when ordering alcohol. I lost money working for free to this store today.

*DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY* This is the worst delivery experience I've ever had. My order should've been here between 1 and 2. I called customer service at 2:30, and they said the driver should be here at 3. At 3:15, the driver called me and said he would be here around 4. A little after 4, I received a text saying my order was canceled. I've now been on hold with customer service for 20 minutes. I'm sure the store itself is nice, but save yourself the hassle and avoid delivery!

This place is really cool! They didn't have what I was looking for, but it was fun to look around. Nice and clean with tons of selection. Friendly staff who can quickly identify where things are stored or if they are out of stock.

Came in looking for a specific type of wine. Spoke to three different people and it felt like I was bothering them. They were not friendly. They were not engaged. They just seemed like they wanted to put in their eight and skate. Very very very disappointing. I spent over $170 and didn't feel good about it. Never again. Never again. Upper management. You need to know about this and you need to fix it. They should be approaching me and asking if I need any assistance, not the other way around.

Good selection, but if you’re between 21 and 30, don’t bother. They will give you a hard time about your ID. Tried to buy 1 single cigar, and got denied because the person with me didn’t have their ID, they had a picture of it, and pay stubs saying that they work at a tobacco shop, but they weren’t having it. Going above and beyond the law just makes people that are years above legal feel like they’re doing something wrong.

This store is a treasure trove for liquor enthusiasts like myself, offering an outstanding selection of spirits, including some of the harder-to-find varieties. One of the aspects that impressed me the most was the incredible range of liquors available at Total Wine. They seem to have something for everyone, from popular brands to lesser-known gems. Whether you're looking for a classic whiskey, a unique craft gin, or an exotic tequila, you'll find it here. Their diverse collection ensures that no matter what your preferences are, you're likely to discover something new and exciting. The customer service at Total Wine deserves special mention. The staff members are not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable. Whenever I had a question or needed assistance in finding a specific bottle, they were more than happy to help. They clearly possess a deep understanding of their products, and their expertise made my shopping experience all the more enjoyable. What sets Total Wine apart from other liquor stores is their commitment to providing a wide variety of choices while maintaining high-quality standards. They manage to strike a balance between popular brands and rare, hard-to-find liquors, ensuring that customers can explore and indulge in their preferred beverages. Moreover, the store's atmosphere is inviting and well-organized. The shelves are neatly stocked, making it easy to navigate through the aisles and find what you're looking for. Whether you're a casual consumer or a connoisseur, Total Wine provides an environment that caters to all levels of interest and expertise.Overall, Total Wine is a welcome addition to Macomb County. Their impressive selection of liquors, including those that are difficult to find elsewhere, combined with their excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff, make it an outstanding destination for any liquor enthusiast. I highly recommend paying them a visit if you're in the area. Cheers to Total Wine for raising the bar and satisfying the cravings of discerning liquor lovers!

Beer and wine Pilgrimage Palace! I've really never seen anything quite like it. I was able to find each of the bizarrely esoteric beers that I recalled from memory, that I didn't even really know I was looking for when I walked in there. They also had wines from the super fancy all the way to mediocrity, and when I recalled an inexpensive label that I enjoy they were able to walk me right to it. Pricing was reasonable, even the cheap stuff was just as cheap as I expect to pay at bargain places I normally patronize. Pretty much 5 stars for service, selection, pricing, and definitely for overwhelming selection under one roof. Lift your glass and tipple a toast to Total Wine!

Total Wine has it all and then some. Honestly the prices are awesome; same items we get at or stores are 3-5 dollars cheaper here. It’s definitely a one stop shop for any alcohol you will need, they have it all. It seems like the aisles go forever; best recommendation is to go in there with a plan of certain items and stick to that.If you take your wife plan to be in the store for a while and you can easily drop $300-$400 without even trying. This was our first visit and only planned to get a bottle of Amarone wine; over $300+ later. Also they have a rewards card to build points. Issues is due to Michigan law you can only redeem on non-alcoholic items but still better than nothing.
