HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My mom is older in age, her vehicle was broken into and she wanted to get protection as it has been hard to sleep due to the anxiety of someone coming into her home, we went to Dunhams sport to look a her options and because she accidentally answered a question wrong on a tablet while applying, she was told she had to come back in 30 days which the permit to purchase was invalid after 30days. Well the gun she was interested in the most I took the liberty of calling Michigan gun exchange to see if they had a similar model (semi automatic) my exact words “I’m wondering do you have semi automatic around 300-350” he says yes and so we head there, we arrive my mom saw one of her interest and he asked me weren’t you the one I just talked to and I said yes but she is purchasing he goes on to say he is going to deny the sale because he thought she was purchasing for me and I told him I was just doing the leg work while she was driving to see who she could go to, so we gracefully. We go to this store BLACK ARSENAL 8 mins from the gun exchange and she was close to purchasing there but they denied the sale due to another store calling them telling them she was trying to purchase for someone else, when I never said it was for me just asked a question concerning their inventory. But to allow someone else’s assumption to sway your perception of people and throw the sale away it’s horrible. The only good reviews at both establishments are from YT people. Racism is still a huge thing and it’s horrible. All BLACK people are not the same, purchasing guns to sell them on the street or buying for a son or to commit any kind of crime.

The guys at Black Arsenal could not have been more helpful ! If one was busy looking something up for me another would strike up a conversation. This was a real pleasure since gun stores are sometimes lacking in truly friendly service. They made even the hassle of my suppressor purchase enjoyable...and fast !! Thanks Chad, Noah and crew !

Excellent customer service, prices and selection. I am a repeat customer and have bought many items from safes to firearms, suppressors and more. Definitely my go to spot for any of my firearm needs and or questions.

NEVER GIVE THESE RUDE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS!!! I am a licensed & went in to look into a piece that I was interested in. The man behind the counter told me the piece wasn't in stock, but he could order it for me. He asked if I had my license & I said yes & proceeded to get it out of my purse. Before I could even give it to him, he told me that he was going to have to ask me to leave. I said, excuse me & he repeated that I needed to leave. I asked why, what did I do? He said that I smell like Marijuana & he won't sell me anything. I just stood there for a second, stunned, because you don't know anything about me. I don't know what you thought you smelled, but it wasn't Marijuana on me, so I just told him how rude it was for him to approach me that way & they will never get my business & walked out. I didn't come in high & acting ridiculous. I was a normal customer & got treated very rude!!! I will give another business my money!!!

Great selection for firearms and a great staff to go along with it. All of the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Noah was great to work with, and super helpful to my husband and I. We will definitely be coming back here for future purchases. Happy to have this store close to home! ?

Great selection for firearms. Beats anything around. I’ll be going back. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Seemed to understand what i was looking for even if i didn’t have a clear picture myself.
