My aunt left an a trust account for her surviving siblings who are in their 80s to help them with any needs and I have been trying to close her account for months now and all I get is excuses and liesfrom this local branch to the corporate office no one has done anything but give me the run around. This company is awful!!!!!

I came to cash my first paycheck from the best job I’ve received yet first I was told that she doesn’t think she was able to cash it Then she tells me she’d have to like make a profile and there will be a fee so I can tell she just didn’t wanna do it. She asked if I had an account with them I said no she asked if I had an account at any other bank I said yes honor then she was very rude and condescending and judgmental about why I didn’t go to honor but I didn’t feel the need to explain at that point I just wanted to leave. I had had a bad experience with honor and I’m thinking about leaving them as a bank I What is interested in creating an account in fifth third depending on how cashing this check once but after the very bad experience and she was very rude and judgmental I decided I do not want to back here I don’t know why a lot of the bank tellers in this area at a lot of the banks are very rude I just don’t understand. The worst experience ever! Nanci told me they would match Huntington's rate if I stayed. When my statement came in she lied about calling me saying she wasn't able to get that rate. Then she said she she would talk to the higher ups and in the end I lost thousands of dollars.

Never fear change is in the air with Nanci, the new 5/3rd bank manager. ✨️ ?

Not to dismiss anyone's prior concerns, but I think that you will find going forward, That Ms Nanci Lyons, the new Stevensville, Michigan Fifth Third branch manager is very informative an a delight to work with. Personally I have found Fifth third to be a bank like none other. With more and more banks cutting staff and moving towards automation, instead of direct 1 on 1 human relations. Fith Third has been addressing customer concerns by adding staff. It's nice to see big business trying to do things that truly make a difference rather than following the more popular easy money trends. Understandably they face the same dilemma that most businesses are facing today with a lack of avaliable staffing. But what the heck! I give them two just for listening and not forcing me to deal with a scripted overseas support center that sends you to the next level up every time they run out of answers. Kudos to you Fifth Third and your staff!

My family had a lot of paperwork to fill out concerning a trust and was expecting our employee of the Kzoo location to be organized. Not only did she show up at least 10 minutes late when 3 out of 5 of us had to be at work, but we were lead to believe that it would be a quick process of signing paperwork that had already been processed. The woman was disorganized and unapologetic. After this, I will personally never deal with any 5/3 bank again.

Walked in. Hour and a half later walked out with a commercial bank account... Competent, friendly service.

Fifth Third bank is absolutely tragic. I have been banking with them for 10 years or more. Aside from the tellers being polite I don't have a good thing to say about this bank. I will say don't bank with them. They are awful.

Horrible experience. Multiple employees lied to me at this branch. Had multiple problems with this bank and it was usually on their end which they really make you work hard to ale right. I have also tried to close my account twice and it's still open and weird charges are coming through every few days and it is a total nightmare at this point I am thinking possible legal action at this point if my problem cannot be resolved

Not focused on the customer anymore. Answers are all standard, cookie-cutter responses like "They system does it that way" or "The policy doesn't allow us to do it". Had a surgery that caused me to not be on top of my Finances for about a week so I missed a transfer of money and ended up with 20 items that tried to clear with no funds in the account. That should not create a $740 Overdraft Fee, but it did. I called and stopped by the office only to hear, "The system does this" and "Our Policy is that" rather than I am so sorry to hear about your surgery and since you are such a valued customer we will take care of those fees for you. My accounts will be moving very soon.
