“This motel was heaven sent. Jessica and Tyrone, the managers, live on the property and were very helpful and encouraging. They made us feel comfortable and at home. We stayed 6 weeks while waiting to move into the home we bought. The room was spacious. There was a queen bed, a dresser, night stand, smart TV, a microwave, and a mini fridge. To help us feel more like being at home, we were allowed to bring our 2 recliners and my husband's mattress. He has back issues, and this stay would have been unbearable without these. We have 2 dogs, that were welcomed as the family they are. The pet fee was reasonable. The weekly rate is unbeatable. The water pressure was awesome, and there was always hot water, which was important to me as i loved a hot relaxing bath. Since there are quite a few long stay guests, it felt more like a community than a motel. As excited as we are to be in our home, we definitely miss the awesome environment we experienced here. If we ever have another situation where we need a home away from home, we will be returning here. Thank you, Jessica and Tyrone, for providing us peace and comfort during a stressful time for us!Rooms: Spacious and newly remodled, hard wood floors.Safety: The manager lives on site along with cameras for added security.Noteworthy details: Grocery stores, fast food, laundry mat, and convince stores are only a few miles away.”

“The entire staff was so kind and patient as I dealt with unforseen car problems on my trip. I am glad I got to see a little bit of this town. If i ever go back that way, I will stay there again!”

“Overall, a great place to stay. Friendly staff, good service, great hot breakfast, waffles to sausage and eggs, even an expresso machine. I did have to get batteries for the remote. There was a hair in the tub, although overall was clean. Staff was notified.Noteworthy details: Indoor pool available here”

“Incredible property stayed in the Log Room at the main house which was a fantastic experience. Room was perfect for a weekend getaway with my wife. The themed rooms are a nice touch at the top you have Log Room, Amish Room, Victorian Room and Lake Room all with their own themed experience. Will be coming back next time and renting one of the waterside cabins as we spent nearly all our time in the community area down by the water. Had one of the most peaceful experiences of our lives at Palmer Lake Lodges!”

“Pros:- Budget friendly: got room with two comfy beds in approx 78 after tax- Pet friendly: We had our cat traveling and even got turned away from Days Inn due to pet policy, so Super8 allowing pets was big- Amenities: Wifi, Coffee, Good Temp Control, Microwave, Fridge and a work deskCons:- The blanket while comfy, was slightly itchy. Fine for sleeping in on the road but didn't wanna cover my head with it- Slight odor, though nothing that bothered us enough to not be able to sleep- We were told $10-$15 approx pet charges over the phone but were charged $30 in person for our catBathroom could be cleaner but was fine. Had no noise or comfort issues and basically filled our goal of recovering on a road trip”
