One of the worse CVS stores I've ever been to. Terribly stocked and neglected. Haven't updated or refreshed in 20 years. Good, knowledgeable pharmacists but so often out of things! Went to the Rite Aide down the street after CVS was out of my item. What a difference!...Well stocked, bright, clean...

Miscounted Prescription - On February 7th, 2018 my father had a pain prescription filled for my elderly mother. The prescription was supposed to be for 120 pills. Upon returning home the pills were counted out as we keep track of proper dosage and there were only 95 pills in the bottle. Upon calling and speaking with the Pharmacist who said he counted the pills twice said it was impossible and virtually called my father a liar in not so many words. We do understand that there are many people who play the game to try and get more pills to feed an addiction. However, after speaking with a friend in the pharmacy business for many years, we were informed that pills are typically counted in fives and that usually a perpetual inventory is run on controlled substances and they should be able to detect a miscount unless someone was pocketing pills. The pharmacist did not mention any type of inventory count to see if a mistake had been made etc.. The solution (or lack thereof) was you'll be receiving a call from corporate. It is now February 9th and we have not been contacted. The Pharmacist who filled the order was Andrew T. Gasso per the label on the prescription. We have no issues when all of our prescription are filled by Helene or Moitra and they are always helpful and courteous. If you use this pharmacy and Mr. Gasso is the name on your pill bottle count your pills at the counter before you leave. We have also informed our Doctor's office to let patients know they should count their pain pills.
