“My friend was married here a couple weeks ago and the venue was absolutely magical! The dimmed lighting give such a charming and romantic. The trees, fountains, and stone wall give such an earthy feel, and the florals made the room feel enchanting. The wait staff were all very lovely and accommodating, and the bar staff did a wonderful job on the drinks. The plated filet and salmon dinner were delicious and the lamb chop hors d’oeuvre was absolutely divine!”
“My husband and I had our wedding here in October 2025. It was exactly what I had hoped for! A beautiful canvas to design our wedding exactly how we dreamed it would be. Not only was the location beautiful, but the employees and the coordinator (Olivia) were wonderful and very helpful. The price was very reasonable and allowed us to put most of our budget into the food and alcohol. Olivia worked with us with whatever we needed. We also got our flowers for the wedding from Goldner Walsh. Emma helped us envision what kind of florals we wanted for our day. The flowers were beautiful and lasted for a week in our home afterward. The flower staff was so kind and genuinely were excited to be a part of our wedding. The best part of our entire experience was that we had the day before to set up and the day after to take it all down. Most places expect you to set up and take down the same day. I would hire Goldner Walsh for our future events any time! Some of our guests loved that they could walk around and make purchases during the wedding as well. Everyone talked about the kitty and the tortoise on the property as well.”
“We just left seeing Santa and they really do such an amazing job! Santa takes his time with the kids and lets them talk and tell him what they want for Christmas! My son was super excited, he’s almost 5 and can understand more of the magic of Christmas and his experience really lite his face up and he keeps talking about how amazing it was! This is our 2nd year seeing Santa here and 10/10 will be coming again next year as well!”

Today, Lisa A. helped me with some cyclamens and she was really kind and knowledgeable, and went out of her way to carefully wrap up the plants to protect them from the bitter cold. “This garden store was amazingly beautiful. The rows of plants reached farther back then my group ventured, and everything was so lush--lots of happy plants. My family and I had stopped here just to burn some time before meeting others for dinner nearby, so I was mostly window-shopping. There is at least one cat, and he was very friendly. He seems to have a very comfy bed/perch near the gift shop. I'm dropping a star for the way the door into the gift shop closed unpredictably; my finger got closed in the frame, which really hurt. (I'm ok! But I don't know whether it was a fluke or something that actually happens more often than it should.)”

“Finally stopped by here after passing it so many times because I saw the native plant sign. They have so many natives and the employees and owner are wonderful and will even offer to order plants they don’t have stock. They grow some of their natives from seed and source other hard to get ones, like sweet pepperbush, from other growers. My new favorite garden center!”
“In and out in about 30 minutes to buy everything we needed (except the hanging hardware) to build 2 barn doors with hinges for even easier access. My DIY helper then built the doors in about 5 hours. Changed my kitchen after many years.”
“Clean store. Occasionally it takes time walking around to find someone on the floor to assist you but whenever I have found that person they've always bent over backwards to help me. Anytime I've had to go to the customer service desk for questions, returns, etc. they have went above and beyond to assist me at this store / location. Thank you Lake Orion Home Depot!!”
“I bought two big potted inpatients for my very shaded porch and one is not doing well compared to the other. Both were watered on Friday and today, one is very wilty looking. The price was so much cheaper than English Gardens which thr same planter was priced at $52.99 So of course, Home Depot was way less expensive at $18.99. However, if one plant dies, well them it won't be quite as inexpensive.”
“I see some bad reviews, but I have always had a great experience here. Rented a hedge trimmer, a drain snake/cleaner, and a carpet cleaner and each time I had attentive service and the equipment was in great shape. Southfield Home Depot is my favorite even though I also go to the one in Troy. Easy and convenient for me.”
“I had such a nice, small town experience this last time I went. Andrea, the store manager was EXTREMELY accommodating for me. Cindy and Robert in customer service were so so helpful and friendly. I went in the store very last minute to rent a truck or van. They offered so many helpful options to meet my ridiculous timeline and request. I could not be more thankful for how they treated me and really expedited the whole process. They made renting the truck a breeze, would 100% rent from them again.”

They were surprised to find out he was just a sales associate. It looks like Home Depot needs to reevaluate William for a potential promotion. I'd hate to think Home Depot is stifling individuals with management potential in entry level positions.”
“The staff and even the customers were amazing, extremely helpful and patient. Very accommodating, and most of all they remembered me because of my many trips lol. Donovan such a sweetheart, helped me with sizing and cutting my wood for my project. Tod offered additional assistance at the register to make sure my purchase would fit in the car. Louis greeted me in the parking lot, helped me get material from the car to return and he was there to assist me when I was leaving. It feels so good to finally have A1 customer service especially when you don’t have a clue to what you’re doing. I absolutely love this Home Depot…the very best hands down!”
