We just spent 2hours at Sam's and he has a large collection of antiques. Sam is lots of fun to talk with also. I would recommend a visit to Sam's Classic Antiques.

Went browsing with my bride and daughter and we had a fun time talking with Sam and looking through and purchasing some of his items. We will definitely be back to see the antiques and hang out with Sam. Love that he does things for Vets.

Aggressive owner, Sam, wants his customers to look up the price of any items they want to purchase from him online... He expects you to show him price comparisons before he will price anything in the shop for you, and he will not give you a price otherwise. Sam doesn’t know the value of his own inventory and tries to pull the wool over your eyes if he thinks he can get away with it. He will yell at you and tell you you’re “trying to get something for nothing” after you offered to pay an average - not outrageous - price for something you found in his store. After my visit to Sam’s store, I’ve read one review after another accusing Sam of the same type of behavior I was met with today. If you’re wondering what was so outrageous about my experience with Sam, then let me lay it out for you… Ultimately, Sam’s price was $200 - $300 for a previously owned (definitely NOT like-new condition) early 2000s Lands End Faux Sherpa jacket made out of polyester. ??Let’s back up… When I first asked Sam the price of the coat I was interested in, he told me, “that’s the real McCoy!”, insinuating that the coat was made of real suede / shearling (which TBH would make a price of $200 - $300 totally fair)… However, I had already looked at the label of the item, as I always do when thrifting and antiquing, so I knew it was polyester and not “real”. He then asked me to look up online price comparisons for the item. I conversationally agreed with him that NEW Lands End coats were $200 - $300 in-store, but since this one was pre-owned and not in “new” condition, I was unsure what he wanted for it. I even said that I didn’t want to insult him with a price he didn’t agree with. Yet he insisted, so I offered him $50 and was chased out of the store with Sam hollering after me. Literally.Since leaving, I haven’t been able to find ANY Vintage Lands End Sherpa jackets for more than $70 online (which I only looked up at his insistence) and most are listed for $25-$35 +shipping. As it turns out, I was in fact being 100% fair with what I offered and Sam was the scammer. After this experience, it really appears to me that Sam needs to be looking into retirement, because it looks as if this behavior is becoming a habit for him… Or maybe his business license should be revoked? Is that a thing?? After all, you should really check out the reports about Sam physically assaulting another customer back in August outside his store. They are all over the internet… ???Now, I just can’t wait for his inevitable response where Sam yells at me more in all caps and tells me I was trying to cheat him and “get something for nothing.” ? Not the case, at all.0/10.DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I enjoyed my time in the store today I visited and purchased a book and talked with the owner Sam a little about his work helping local veterans and although I couldn’t find what I was specifically looking for today it was a nice experience seeing all of the old antiques.

Sam had my item on consignment - when I went to pick it up because it never sold, he couldn't find it. I looked around, and found it myself. Will never go back.

This was in the news this morning. Seems Sam Warwick has taken someone's property than assaulted them.

August 2023 by Shelley W.
The man is not honest ( although he will constantly yell that he's got 22 references that he can give you). Mr.Warwick came to my home mid-July to determine if I owned anything of interest to him. He changed his mind and decided that I wanted too much money and that he would take (8) items to sell at his store with me to receive at least half, if not more of the sales price. Nothing was sold and I asked for the return of my property. He called the police the day I arrived. Mr. Warwick was unable to "find" a Roseville marked bowl. It was on the list of items he took from me. He says that I never gave it to him; a total lie--I had carefully wrapped all my property and carried them to his car. Prior to the police officer arriving, Mr Warwick assaulted me, causing bruising and scratching. A report was given to the officer and he saw the bruises and scratches left on both of my arms. My advice: stay clear of Sam Warwick and his shop which, by the way, is an all cash business ( he'll take a check if he know you). The IRS really should take a look at his books--if there are any.

Sam is a really nice guy and sold me an item at a fair price. I was in a pinch and had to bring the kids with me to the store (strapped into stroller) and he chatted with my kids and kept them entertained while I walked around the store.

Pretty good selection, owner is very nice, and is a vet. Big heads up, items aren’t priced, so you have to haggle on items, and they only accept cash. They have tons of records, dvds, and some vhs tapes. The owner was pretty fair with pricing also.
