Today's experience was great. I found what I needed, customers were nice, and the employee at the register was really nice. With general experience I normally have no problems. However, there was one experience where I had came in the previous day to return a food item in which an employee allowed us to return the item due to my son with autism being indecisive. We only took it to the car and brought it right back into the store unopened. The next day it happened again but the employee/manager would not allow us to return the item and assumed and lied saying that we did not return an item the previous day due to store policies, but we did. Because of her outburst towards me she made me look bad and embarrassed me in front of the customers in the store. Now, I went from being a regular to the store on Ecorse Rd to only going there when absolutely necessary. When one of the workers lost the store phone outside, my son found it and returned it to them. We were very well respected by the employees at that store. I understand if they have store policies. What I do not accept is the attitude that manager had with me and making false claims about something that actually happened. I can't remember the day it happened. All I can remember is it was in the summer I think August of 2024.

How your employees are very friendly and very helpful when you change to the $1.25 the stuff you used to get at the dollar you don't get the stuff like you used to it's like well after the stuff you have to go I don't know how to explain it but I mean we used to get a lot of stuff for the dollar more than we do now for $2.25 you have to buy things for $5 $ three dollars

Used to shop here all the time the old manager Jill was always nice an made sure the store was clean an stocked since she has been gone it's messy , dirty, the employees are rude , and the poles on the carts that make it so you can't take them out are ridiculous I bought Tons of stuff and asked if they had any carts that didn't have the poles on them the rude cashier said no I asked how was I supposed to take all my stuff to my car she replied with I could take a few at a time an keep coming back in yeah no they shouldn't be allowed to have the poles on the carts they can smoke out there but don't wanna get the carts

Two employees were stocking Easter stuff while the rest of the store was in shambles. The gift bag section looks like a tornado went through and there was expired candy in the candy isle. I'll drive out of my way to the other location.

They are rude asf and unprofessional here. I am never coming to the dollar tree again. It was 8:45 and they were announcing that they close in 5 minutes. Turning away customers too. Thee ghetto!!! If you don't like your job, get a new one.
