I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Home Depot that I feel compelled to share. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that customer service was not a priority for this store. I was looking for assistance in the appliance section and ended up waiting for over 30 minutes. When I finally found an employee, they seemed disinterested and distracted, barely looking up from their phone while I tried to explain what I needed. It felt like I was bothering them rather than receiving help, which was incredibly frustrating.
The disorganization in the store was another major issue. The aisles were cluttered making it difficult to navigate. I was looking for specific items to complete my project, but I found myself wandering around in frustration because several products were out of stock. It was incredibly aggravating, especially since I had driven a decent distance to shop there. The lack of clear signage only added to the confusion, as I wasted time searching for items that should have been easy to locate.
To make matters worse, I encountered a nightmare when I tried to return a defective item. The return policy was not clearly communicated, then when Kristen the manager came over I felt like I was being interrogated about why I wanted to return it. Kristin was extremely rude and rasist saying white people should listen and this wouldn’t have been a problem. The cashier was rude and dismissive, making the already stressful situation even worse. After going back and forth for what felt like an eternity, I finally received my refund, but the entire experience left a sour taste in my mouth. It was disheartening to see such a lack of empathy and understanding from the staff, especially when I was simply trying to resolve an issue. I couldn't help but feel that Home Depot was failing to meet even the most basic expectations for customer service.
Overall, my experience at Home Depot was far from satisfactory. The lack of customer service, disorganization, and poor return policy made it a frustrating visit. I will not be returning to this store anytime soon and would caution others to consider alternative options for their home improvement needs. It's disappointing to see a company with such potential fall short in so many areas, and I sincerely hope they take steps to improve their service in the future.

Every time I go to this home Depot if I ever have questions there's always someone to help me. They always ask if I need help and I always feel like I walk out getting what I needed.

Stopped taking back Stanley tape measures. Make you go through Stanley snail mail now. Convenient that you sell them but will not replace defective 30 foot tape measures.

We got a great hot water heater, but if you use their company to install it, it's an extra $1100. Wtf? I hired a plumber and got a permit all for under $500. The markup is ridiculous!

I would have gave them 5 stars. The last was professional, and helped me pick out a washer and dryer and explained the delivery process. I am satisfied with that. However, I opted into the installation done when delivered. My washer was an easily done. The dryer was a bit more of a problem. Obviously the installer was not a professional, because I needed an extended gas line plus I had to purchase a longer vent duck. The kit i opted into on was a basic set up, which should have been explained to me at the sale. Once the installer left, me and my fiance went to Home Depot and purchased gas lines plus extended vent sucks, we did the installation ourselves because the installer had no knowledge of it. My worry is what if I had been an elderly person with the same problem? Who would have helped me? It’s basically a u buy, and if we can’t install. It’s your problem not ours, even though we paid for professional installation. 3 stars!

I called to confirm the time their curbside pick-up ends & was incorrectly told 5pm!
But, when I rechecked their website, it stated 6 pm! Nothing is worse than an incorrect answer!
