Don't fall for the fake reviews . This places manipulates you and pressures you . Rips you off and lies to you about the value of the work and what they charge you.
Avoid at all costs.

Way over priced, like they charge what they feel like it. I've checked other similar places and it was so much less. My new tires were full of mud and they went through my console looking for my wheel lock and tossed whatever they wanted on the floor. They also moved my spare tire in the hatch but never put it back the way it was. This place is not worthy of my business and is price gouging. Do better folks, take your car elsewhere,

DON'T TRUST this place, if I could give it a negative rating I would.
I brought my truck in on Monday 3/3 to be fixed for broken sway bars, My truck had a 3rd party warranty so my warranty company approved the repairs so the next day I hadn't heard for Midas by the way this is the Midas on Goddard Rd in Taylor. I called to get a status update on my truck I was left on hold for 20 minutes then hung up on I called back spoke to the same person again asking for a update on my truck was put on hold again for another 5 minutes when he finally came back on the phone I was told that they had not even started on my truck which they had for 24 plus hrs, andbI needed it back today I was told that it would not be ready and if I wanted it fix i could come and take it somewhere else.
After I picked up my truck I informed my warranty company that I was not getting the repairs done at Midas, they then informed me that Midas already submitted the repairs to them for payment on Monday and nothing was fixed one of there employees forged my signature and submitted it for payment I have filed a lawsuit against Midas. DON'T have your vehicle serviced there especially if you have a warranty on your vehicle they did it to me they will do it to someone else and try to get away with it.

My grandpa liked goin here personally I won't be going back i put a lot of money in a car in i shouldn't have ( im dumb) but I also had a terrible oil leak they had to be looking at it while they were fixing it and didn't say a thing so I come back after some time cause they had already
taken me for every red cent i did and didnt have get a quote for broke head gasket that had leaked oil every where from the woman for 1300 but says I really should do this extra stuff making it at least 1500 I say no come get my car and the nice guy behind the register gives me a quote of 980. I made a bad choice to fix it the first time im not gonna
stay on a bad road just because I started down it but did she over charge me on that one like she tried to yesterday probably if you go there be careful i should have been made aware of the leak and not robbed ( so $0)

This review may be premature, but I'll include my experience up to this point. I was experiencing issues with my car holding a charge for more than a couple of days. I would jump it, drive it and the battery would charge while driving. That charge would only last a few days, then the battery would be dead again.
A new alternator was put in the vehicle previously, and I felt a battery was purchased a few years ago as well, but wasn't sure. So, I decided to look around to some of the places that offer free battery checks, but because I have a Chrysler 200, and the battery is in the bumper, no place would do this check.
So I did some searching and ended up at Midas. I updated them on the situation. They came back and confirmed that my battery was bad and for the complete service and new battery it would be $400+. I felt like this was a bit much, but at this point going to another place would have brought the total near this anyway, so I decided to get the new battery.
I asked if I could have my old battery, but was advised that they don't provide the old batteries back, and if so I would have to pay for it. So I have to pay for the battery ai came here with, didn't sound right to me, but I let it be.
I get my car and for about 4 months it's running fine. I got the battery in April and by August it's doing the exact same thing all over again. So as soon as I had a chance I went to the dealership. I wanted to have them check and see if there was anything else wrong with the vehicle. They checked everything with the electrical system and came back saying the battery was bad.
So I went back to Midas to let them know the battery was bad and I haven't had it a year, so it was still under the two year warranty. He checked the system and advised me that he didn't see my name as being serviced at their Midas and asked me if I had a receipt.
Luckily I had the receipt and was able to provide it to him, because I know they would have tried to charge me all over again. He looked over the receipt and realized that he was the person that helped me previously and didn't understand why it didn't show in their system.
Shortly after, he advises me that yes the battery is bad, and they have a battery in the back they can put in it, then they test that battery and it's bad as well. He's shocked saying it's only been sitting back there for a few months. I'm thinking to myself, why are you trying to get me a battery that has just been sitting in a garage.
He had to order me a brand new battery, like he should have done in the first place. I waited for another 40 minutes or so for delivery and installation. The car seems to be running much better and I'm happy that it wasn't more than just the battery, but this service could have been much better as a whole.
I asked would my warranty be extended to another two years, since this is a whole different battery and he said no, the same warranty is based on the original payment date. That's something else that should have been extended, especially when you have a customer that you've told two of your batteries have went bad in such a short amount of time.
So I'll be monitoring my car closely with this one. This may not be your experience, and may not be many of the customers experiences, but I feel like the prices are a bit high. Maybe that's everywhere. The customer service was ok, the mechanics quality service was pretty good. They didn't break anything else and made sure my vehicle was put back in proper order, and the replacement parts (battery) seem to be questionable, which is the last thing that you should have to worry about when you're buying a new part.
This may be a slightly generous 3 star, I almost feel like leaning towards 2 stars, but to this point it seems like it has worked

Nick is very cocky and arrogant, never calls customer with updates. I spent alot of money to have my vehicle repaired , my shift cable was replaced and then broke as the mechanic never adjusted it right. Nick claims truck drives fine but the complaint wasnt about how it drives it was about the shift cable disconnect. Anyway he got smart saying what do you want me to do ?? Like idk your job??? Make sure your so called certified mechanics know there job??? Of he knew his job he would have seen the broken clip on the floor under the pedal. They will not be getting no more money from me. Regardless how much u spend customer doesnt know anything and a arrogant manager runs this business. When i first told him about my problem all he was saying was oh wow oh wow like he didnt give a f what was wrong

Do not go here. Brought in my car told them my brakes are grinding just need new pads. 1 hour later they call me telling me all irrelevant things wrong with my car, telling me I need a oil change, new wheel bearings, new calipers and a bunch of other things. They quoted me $795. I told them no thanks I just wanted my brakes. They called me 5 seconds later telling me the mechanic lowered the price and that they would not charge me for a new caliper and rebuild mine for $500. I said let me think about it, called back and told them no thanks. His attitude changed and started telling me “Fasho” & started asking why I didn’t go through with it did I call somebody else? Then he proceeded to tell me that I owe him money for inspection charge. I said okay. End of the day I took my car to another shop and they did everything he was gonna charge me 795 for, for only 350. Stay away from this cash grab and don’t let the reviews and good ads fool you like they did me. Not to mention my key was ran over as well the key ring was flattened.

Last year, I visited this Midas branch and had a poor experience. The staff initially quoted me around $980 for repairs, but when I decided not to proceed with the work there, the person told me they would mark my car as unsafe to pressure me into staying. I stepped outside and called another mechanic to verify if this was the best price available. Suddenly, the Midas employee came out with a new quote of $760! While I understand that my car might have been unsafe due to the issue, the staff could have been more transparent and friendly from the start. I won’t be returning to this branch again!

Disappointed in service. Brought vehicle in for an alignment and was assured they could handle it. Was called next day pick up vehicle, front tires VISABILLY out of alignment. Test drove, every light that could flash was flashing. Said they would fix, Monday comes and tell me they can't do it. Tried charging me $600 instead of the original alignment price. Tried making me pay them for their lack of knowledge and experience with a lifted vehicle causing them to put more hours in. Vehicle is now at another shop, being done correctly. Avoiding this money grab of a shop in the future.
