Very rude. Saw her screaming at her student at WEC in the schooling ring and to top it off very rude to other participants.

Not like any other horse farm around here, this place is meticulately maintained inside and out , the barn is cleaner than some house's I've been in, these horses have it made!

Great place to learn English riding. Family oriented and ran by the Howard Family. They teach a great discipline.

Fall on the farm is one of my favorite times of year! Walking into the barn and seeing the cornstalks and pumpkins knowing the Halloween party is right around the corner brings back so many fun memories from my childhood at FMF!

I agree with the above review. Unfortunately, I am not the only one who has witnessed what has gone on in this barn both in the lesson program and for private boarders. I witnessed blatant unprofessional by the staff (the way they treated people they did not like and rumors that were spread about those people) and it is sad because it is a very nice facility. I am not saying as a barn that you cannot be choosy, but this place takes it to the next level and it is really very inappropriate so expect a lot of barn drama (every barn has drama but this was extreme to the point where reputations were being questioned). I was not in the "student lesson program" and I highly advise riders to look elsewhere when choosing a facility or if you do choose this facility just get in, get instruction, and then get out.

I signed my daughter and myself up for lessons. It was advertised as lessons given by Meg but was actually by her nephew Henry. We did not care for this barn. The ponies are mean and bite. The full size school horses are way overworked, practically run into the ground. The horse they had me on was a 25 y.o. that was used in 3-4 lessons a day. They're all about quantity instead of quality. After several months there, Henry still didn't know my name and instead shouted the horses name. I won't even mention the total lack of instruction on proper grooming, care, and tack maintenance. Everything I learned there the horse or another rider showed me. The horses aren't horses. They're sports equipment. Riders aren't riders. We're accessories.
