Do not rent here. They have bed bugs very bad. In the rental agreement it states that the renter is responsible. The bed bugs are in the walls of every apartment. The electric is in such bad shape that it has caused a few fires. The new owners refuse to maintain any apartment while occupied, meeting that nothing gets fixed until the tenant moves out. One tenant has been here 17 years and cannot use the electric outlets in the main bedroom nor all the lights in the 2nd bedroom. If he puts all the lights in the one bedroom at least one bulb will explode. The electric in the main bedroom will shut down both bedrooms until you mess with the plug until it comes alive again. Can you say fire hazard?

Pretty spacious apartments. Lots of closet space! However the apartments are way dated for the price...

Lived here for two years. Someone new bought the complex out from the owners that were there when we moved in. New owners told us we never paid a deposit based off what the old owners told them even though I sent proof of receipts. So now it’s somehow our problem to chase down the old owners to get our deposit back. Office manager gave us a number to call which is ironically disconnected. They can keep the deposit at this point. Maintenance is awful and these apartments are not maintained or renovated up to date for what they are charging. Seemed nice when we moved in but wouldn’t recommend moving here unless you’re desperate. They don’t care to fix anything. One of my neighbors told me when she moved in her sliding glass door was broken for two weeks and wouldn’t lock and no one would come fix it for at least 3 weeks. Save your money.

Manager is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. Made an appointment to see an apartment and no one was there; after calling office several times she had someone give us a tour. He was very friendly however. We were approved after a week of waiting and then added extra move in fees. Manager decided to decline our application when we complained about the undisclosed extra fees. Left us homeless. Don't waste your time.

Not a bad place. Like any rentals trying to get them to fix anything is a love-hate relationship. It may get fixed or it may not. Area is nice though.

What a shame that this once very nice apartment complex is in a state of disrepair, with little to no maintenance addressed and dirty nasty hallways and horrible landscaping.

Been here almost one year and I really like it. rent is affordable, my neighbors are nice, management has been great to me. Anytime I had a mantaince issue it was addressed quickly. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice apartment at a low price. I like how convenient the location is, the grocery store Is 1 block away and there's a beautiful park and playground behind the complex. I would only suggest filling in the pot wholes in the parking lot.

High rent poor accommodations. Nuff said.Edit**My mom (senior citizen) lived here when her apartment building burnt because of an electrical problem in another unit. The building is owned by an immigrant operated management company based out of Chicago. They tried to screw every person that was impacted by the fire, 16 families lost everything and the management tried to screw them all. Before the fire her ac quit working it took me calling three days after she initially called and barking at the other person stating someone better be there the next day or I would have a local hvac company fix it and take it out of the rent. Of course they said someone will be there first thing, nope more like 530pm, and it wasn't fixed until the following day.

Apartment burnt down and there were known electrical issues...as well as a water issue which was never taken care or resulting in mushrooms and black mold growing in the building. Anyway during the fire the management couldn't even be bothered to open the office or an empty apartment to let us get out of the cold or sun or use the restroom. Although the newspaper article will tell you different the management did us all wrong by not addressing the issues with the building and I never received my deposit back as it was a quote "move in fee." You would think they would forfeit that "move in fee" if you are forced to move out before the end of your lease.

Let me just start by saying that $600 a month for a one bedroom apartment like this is a bit ridiculous. I've lived here 7 months and have had my toilet mess up, my a.c. broke 3 times (even after getting a whole new a.c.), the sink broke, and the buildings are DISGUSTING. Dead bugs all over hallways. The manager and maintenance man are more worried about smoking cigarettes in the garage than helping the tenants or cleaning at all. The owner obviously does not care at all because you can tell they have not been here in years. I would not recommend to my worst enemy. They offer $100 off of rent for refferals, which is not a big enough bribe to ask a friend or loved one to move here. Be smart, keep looking.

Well contrary to the previous review, that gentleman as well as a neighbor in this bldg. had to wait a week to get AC fixed. Hardly prompt service on repairs. My glass slider started getting filmy 4 years ago - did finally get a new glass. Not new door mind you - just the glass. My furnace has only seen 3 filters in 5 years. I'd buy my own but they won't show me where the filter goes and they promptly told me they'd take care of it. These filters cost all of approx $1.00-$1.50 ea. No other service has been done not even after the fire that occured in the apartment below me leaving soot everywhere and costing me my deductible to clean up!! Our wash machine for our building has been broken for 5 weeks!! Still no sign of repair in sight - also hardly prompt repair!! And my stove burners sometimes turn off - sometimes not. I have to make sure they're off after a while so they don't stay on for days. This stove is very old. It has taken 2 trips to repair a leaky faucet in bathroom sink - still not fixed and it will take a 3rd visit to repair/replace the fixture!! Also hardly prompt repair. And there is nothing in our apartments in the kitchen except a garbage disposal!! NO dishwasher, cabinets are old in most unless there was a fire in that apartment in which case the rent has been bumped up sky high after repairs from fire to a huge amount but still no dishwasher!! My rent has been increased by $30, and I got them to come down $10 - I still get nothing for my money except the priviledge of laundromat and high renter insurance rates. When that fire occured, not one smoke alarm went off - I got home from work at approx 1:30AM to find my apartment hazy, called police who in turn called fire department. They had to pound on doors to get rest of tenants up and out of here. I would rate this place VERY POOR
