“About 35 years ago, a family friend would bring their bratwurst to us in Illinois and we would grill them with mustard and onions. One of the best things of my youth! Then, decades later, I decided I had to have those again, and I made the 80 minute drive.
The little shop is absolutely amazing, full of all kinds of things to buy. I brought two big coolers packed with ice and tried about 8 different things, from hot dogs, to jerky, to summer sausage. Everything was one of the best meats I've ever had.
