In a word, phenomenal! Ron and Ken are the perfect hosts and have thought of every aspect that could make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Their Bed and Breakfast shows that you can have a beautiful historical home and still enjoy modern comforts. The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. The breakfast was incredible and they took our food allergies into consideration. The only thing I regret is that we were only able to stay one night. Ron and Ken's Bed and Breakfast is the place to stay!

We spent two perfect evenings here starting on a Thursday afternoon and ending on a Saturday morning. Our hosts Ron and Ken are the epitome of gracious, friendly, and accommodating. They explained everything we needed to know and were quickly responsive to all of our questions. The town is a block away and you can walk there and enjoy shops, good food and good drink. Although you may be completely satisfied from the amazing breakfasts that Ron and Ken serve! Be sure to ask for blueberry muffins! Delectable! There is so much available in a short driving distance as well. I enjoy visiting breweries and there are at least 20 within a 30min drive in each direction. New Buffalo, Sawyer, Bridgman, etc… it’s a perfect getaway! We love coming to this area. It’s a fantastic value and the stay was worth every penny! Be sure to also look up their second property The Sycamore Guest House.
Nearby activities: Driving the Red Arrow Highway plenty of restaurants, antiques and just a nice drive. New Buffalo has many options for whatever you are looking for, be it food, drink, shops, beach… etc.
Walkability: Town is one block away and about a four block stretch of shops, galleries and eats.
Food & drinks: Blueberry muffins! What more do you need in life?

This was a fabulous find in a sweet little town full of charm and wonderful restaurants and shops. The owners could not have been more gracious! They helped me with my bags and explained all the lovely extras in the room. The room (#5 - it had a name I can't remember) was lovely, peaceful. The bed was very comfortable. It was very clean, had a great shower. Good air conditioning. And the breakfasts were delicious and wholesome and freshly made (you have to try Ken's blueberry muffins - yum!). I would stay there again. There were several outdoor sitting areas that I enjoyed, one in the evening while sipping a glass of wine . And I asked for breakfast on the porch with the cool morning and filtered sunlight. It could not have been better. Plus they had reverse osmosis water system which I appreciated!Lovely, perfect stay! Great for couples, I'd say! I'll be returning there!

I really enjoyed my second stay here. Their rooms are clean, classy, and beautifully decorated. The fireplace suite has more bells and whistles than the room I stayed in last time (i.e., a heated tile floor in the bathroom). The hosts are great and kind people! I enjoyed some time out on the patio (and the neighborhood cat Kelly even joined me)!

Only 15 minutes away there are more shops and a tremendous water front.Food & drinks: Breakfast was very tasty. Presented extremely well.

My family and I spent a weekend in the Crow's Nest at Three Oaks Inn. We found our hosts and the inn itself to be pleasant. Once you get into the Crow's Nest, the room is comfortable albeit with an extremely low ceiling. Getting into the room though is the hard part. To say that one should be comfortable with stairs is an understatement and misleading. I climb up and down stairs every day and I have no mobility issues. This is hold on for dear life, I think I am climbing a ladder with my luggage on my back kind of stairs. My family and I were all completely surprised and shocked by these stairs. The breakfast while good was ordinary. Breakfast on Saturday was oatmeal (my typical weekday breakfast) with raisins and brown sugar, some nice muffins, packaged yogurt and apple, banana, clementines. On Sunday, it was the same plus some boiled eggs. Not what I am use to experiencing when I go to a bed and breakfast.Edited to add:The owner's reply that I called to demand a refund is not true and never happened. I never made contact with the owner after we left. I never demanded a refund. I originally left a 4 star review on AirBnb and the owner was very unhappy with the 4 stars so he proceeded to contact me because of his dissatisfaction with my honest review, he then proceeded to say that I demanded a refund which is untrue because I never contacted him, and then in retaliation, he wrote a 1 star review of my husband's business, where he has never been a client. The stairs were a complete surprise because the original description said must be comfortable with stairs, no description otherwise. After my review and the posting of our pictures on the stairs, he changed the description. The pictures posted of the stairs are our pictures.

I don’t even know where to begin with this place. The upkeep, to the attention to small details! The owners are so kind and helpful, as well as extremely knowledgeable about the location and activities to do.Everything was extremely clean, and I have never felt more welcomed in a place before. Will always come back to this place as well as recommend it to everyone!!! Thanks Ron & Ken. You both were absolutely wonderful.
