They either need to turn back on the self checkout or hire more people. Other than I hate waiting in line, the store is very clean and the employees are friendly and helpful.

The customer service is very toxic and backhanded. There is a man wearing glasses in a orange shirt and a short hair crew cut that would talk to other employees regarding customers and makes snide comments about them after they leave. Would not recommend going here. The service is rude and they will call you a thief behind your back if you used their self-checkout machine even if you paid for every item in your checkout. Also the couple the man talked about was a African American man with a Caucasian woman whom he snidely and openly commented about them being a thief. As I came back into the store both of the employees were suspiciously looking at my vehicle when I was coming back in quite possibly profiling me.For people who are not of wealth I would not recommend coming to this Dollar General or any others within the region. Whatever training in customer service is being done isn't doing it properly and overall. It is quite crude of the management to hire rude employees at these locations including the one in Marcellus.Don't ever go as the prices are also not cheaper than Wal-Mart on average. Their *Deals* buy one get one free is a fallacy where the initial item price is inflated to cover both items cost. Such with Sodas and soup.

This is the cleanest, most organized DG in our area. The management seems to really be trying hard to keep this new store in top shape. People at the registers are friendly and helpful, too!
