Probably one of the best experiences I've had renting a car. Pick-up was quick and seamless. Drop-off was easy. I had a discrepancy with my bill, they figured out the issue, but couldn't fix it at the counter. So they gave me a number to call at the Avis office and it was handled promptly.

Rented Ford Expedition. Back had food on the seats and floor. Lipstick tube on front passenger floor. At $230 a day I expect a clean vehicle. When I mentioned to drop off person I got a quick sorry a comment that a guess I'll have to tell them to do a better jobAvis has since reached out to me and I am satisfied with their compensation and will be willing to try them again.

I placed a booking for a midsized car and was given a great car with all the driver assistance specs like sensors. Unfortunately the car check engine light came and a warning stating engine problems and it required to be driven slow and taken in for service. This happened an hour into my journey and I had to call avis service which stated it either needs to be towed or driven back to the rental car centre. I drove it back to the centre and was given an old poor quality car with no driver assistance specs. I paid for a higher quality car which broke down and was given a poor quality car for a higher price. I am not happy with the service I received and not happy with the car received for the price I paid. ?

The car was filthy. Sand everywhere and the seats wear dirty. Floor carpets completely worn through.The car also had a “maintenance required” alert.This was the dirtiest rental car I have ever had. And expensive.Would give it Zero stars if possible.

Great experience with AVIS at Traverse City, MI this past weekend. Great customer service and upgrade to small SUV (Ford Escape) I'm a 100% Disabled Veteran in a wheelchair. SUV made for a much better trip

Easy airport with cars just outside the door. Nice staff, fully informed us what to do if we dropped off before they opened- which we did. Only wished there’d been verification that was all okay in case anything was disputed.

I was treated well and upgraded. However the cost was high and the car was dirty and still had some of the previous renters paperwork and garbage left in the car. No outside agents to check you in.

My vehicle reeked of cigarettes. I had already stood in a line to get the vehicle and was pressed for time so did not go back in to request a different vehicle. Big mistake! I had a headache and felt nauseated every time I drove it and my clothes smelled like cigarettes afterwards. That vehicle should never have been part of a rental fleet. I told the agent about it when I returned it, but all she would offer me was $20 off. I won't be recommending Avis any time soon.

SCAMMED. I'll update this review as soon as it's resolved but as of now I rented a car from this location - there was a small crack on the windshield which was indicated in the initial report when I picked up and mentioned to me by the Avis employee - no problem! However two months later I received a letter stating I am being charged $777 for the cracked windshield that existed on the vehicle prior to my pickup. All efforts to contact customer service and explain to them that it was like this initially are ignored and i'm told i'll be billed regardless unless I send them a time stamped photo of the crack when I picked it up. I've phoned this location and they've assured me it's in their report and they would resolve it but for some reason they're not able to communicate this to Avis itself and i'm being told i'll still be charged. It should absolutely not fall on the customer to do this work to prove the damage to the car already existed. This has caused an extreme amount of distress for something that should have never been my problem in the first place. Needless to say i'll never rent from Avis again - they try to scam you at every opportunity and are unable to communicate within their own company. Save yourself the money and headache and book through a reputable rental company like Enterprise or Hertz.
