Rooms were not clean. They provided us with a room that the linens were on the floor - dirty and totally not cleaned. This was the third room they provided us and we went back to the 1st room with the water damaged ceiling and poor beds. The hot tub was foamy and dirt floating on the surface. Staff told us at 8PM to leave if we did not like it, like we were going to find another hotel that time of the day.

Pulling in the lot was covered in ice but there qas pleanty of parking, walkomg in was quiet given the time of day but the worker was sitting in the general area on her phone instead of behind the desk, got all checked in and she was quick to run through room number and direction to room, pool times, breakfast times and rules. The stay was decent the pool area was quiet not alpt of seats and the ppol was kinda dingy, the hot tub was kinda nasty with brown bubbles and hair floating around, npt too many towels for guests either. Beds were pretty comfortable but the half sized pillows kinda sucked. Shower pressure sucked and tub was dirty. They were pet friendly wich was nice. Then for breakfast it was a small set up with prepackaged oatmeal, danishes and a small coffee bar, they had bagels and bread for toast, buscits with a pot of gravey and a single waffle maker. Not an out of this world experience but got us through the 1 night trip intended.

On US 31 just south of the mall. It is convenient to shopping, and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. They offer juice, coffee, tea, milk, make-your-own waffles, bagels and breads, muffins, donut holes, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, and more. Everything we ate was yummy! We brought home takeout for dinner and ate in the lovely lobby area. We sat before the pretty electric fire afterward. The bed was comfortable, and the toiletries smelled great. We are Wyndham Rewards members, and the room cost us under $80 per night. What a deal!!! We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed over Christmas break everything was great aside from asking staff for anything like to bring towels to the pool after I had already went to the front desk asking for them as well as asking numerous times for them to come get the trash from the room we had zero house cleaning for the 4days that we stayed at this location.

I do not know who the manager is of this location, but someone at Corporate needs to check into the staff that is running the Baymont in Traverse City. I booked a room for my son and his fiance with my points. My son got sick in the morning, so we kept trying to call this location to cancel the reservation. We tried for hours, and could not get through to anyone. My sons fiance went into the Baymont to talk to someone at the desk. There were 4 people in the back talking, and not paying any attention to the counter, so she walked out. I called the number for Wyndham, and they tried to called the location, with no success. They told me to call them (Wyndham customer service) in an hour, and hopefully they could get my points refunded. I waited an hour and a 1/2, and called back. Once again they tried to call the Baymont, and could not get an answer. They apologized and told me to call back tomorrow. I told them that I will wait until Monday, and that they better be able to get my points refunded, or I will go up the chain, as far as I can go. I read some of the reviews that have been left on their website, and I am really glad that my son and his fiance did not stay there. This is totally unacceptable for Wyndham to have a location in a great location, so close to the Grand Traverse Mall, and with such poor customer service.

Never have I ever had a problem booking a room through Priceline. Until this fateful trip! I prepaid for 2 rooms through Priceline. Upon checking out I was informed that my card on file for incidentals was being charged for the rooms! I thought I misunderstood so I asked, what? Am I getting charged again?? The hotel personal said, "yes the Priceline card was declined. We had to charge your card?" I was so confused and irritated and I didn't have time to argue. I was on my way to the hospital for surgery. I did say, wait a minute, I have never had a problem with Priceline. She said, "it happens to us all the time and you will have to take it up with Priceline." How is that my problem or fault!!!? I spoke to Priceline. They are trying to fix this. In the meantime I have double charges on my card. Unacceptable. As a business you chose to partner with Priceline. It should be your problem not mine. Very unhappy customer ?

The room we were in needs a lot of work. There is a huge water spot in the bathroom above he shower head that was rusted/moldy. Faucet in shower was rusted. Shower did not drain well. As for the room, it was ok, I get you get what you pay for...but a fresh coat of paint, and fixing torn window treatments would go a long way. Mattress are horrible and make a god awful sound. When we checked in the window had been left unlocked, and we were on the ground floor. Most of the staff we interacted with was pleasant, but there were a couple of staff members who just truly did not care to help at all.

During my stay at Baymont on October 11-13th 2023 I was staying in room 216. I have tons of complaints. The bed collapsed immediately when someone sat on it. There were gross stains on shower curtain and bed sheets. Prices for sodas were through the roof! When I was showering, the metal bar holding the shower curtain fell on me!! I was getting random calls almost every minute and the room above us was SO LOUD! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Had to have an emergency stop due to weather. Got our room around 9pm to 10pm. Went to go lay down to get back on the road early and went to pull the covers and there was a bed bug. I have a picture below. Let the desk guy know, he canceled our room. We called in the morning and the guy from the night before never even told the morning crew. Neither seemed to concerned. Bed bugs are no joke. Someone needs to get in there are clean and treat for these. You will lose everything to bed bugs if you end up having one come home with you. They spread fast and take over. You cannot just treat one room. The entire building needs to be shut down and treated. You will only have them move to a different room if you centralize the treatment. Yes, I am totally being a Karen about this as this could really be an expensive issue for anyone that stays there and bring them home with them.

This is a good, clean hotel. The price is definitely worth staying here. I rented a room based on a coworkers opinion on her past stay and it definitely lived up to its good reputation. I was also impressed with the breakfast they served.
