“Awesome place! Fast, friendly, and affordable. Took my truck in to have a new windshield and drivers side window put in. Was told it would take roughly 3.5 hours and they would have it done. They called me after 1.5 hours and said it was finished and I could pick it up! Highly recommend”

“I was traveling home to the UP when a turkey smashed my windshield south of Cadillac in the late afternoon. I couldn't drive the vehicle any further and as it was late in the day I was low on options. Spent 20 minutes texting SAFELITE who kept trying to sell me premium packages and then couldn't schedule for 3 days.
I called Mitten Glass Co. and Jeremy answered. I was thrilled to have a human on the phone. I explained that I was traveling with a rented trailer and needed to get it back the following day. He put me first in the queue in the morning. Adam was there before 9am working on the glass when I came out of the hotel. Adam did a great job cleaning up the glass in the car and getting me back on the road ASAP.
The bottom line is that these guys are local, friendly, affordable, and fast. They got me out of a jam even with volume of work they were doing due to storm damage in the area and didn't try to sell me extras I didn't need. A+++ Thank you both!”
“Twin Bay was an amazing experience! I had ordered a piece of glass for my coffee table. We had a miscommunication regarding the corners - I wanted rounded corners to match the table and the person thought I wanted square corners and round edges (the thin edge) . so the piece came in and unfortunately it didn't look right and presented a scratching hazard for my little kids. I called them on the phone and they were happy to make me a new piece and only charged me the difference for the extra cutting on the corners.

Standing in our shower with dirty boots doesn't get it, let alone walking thru the home, 2,3 times.

“After my usual body shop failed to respond to three messages left in a week, I called these folks. Gary answered and asked a few good questions. He said just to give him a heads up when I could swing my vehicle by for a look. I did so and he met me and walked out to look it over on the spot. He showed interest in what I do for a living and asked some questions there as well (unusual, but good stuff). As promised, he shot me an email quote within a day. I dropped it off on schedule and it was ready the same day he said it would be. He walked me through everything and made sure I was satisfied. My hood and fenders look like new. I then got a hand-written, personalized thank-you card snail mailed. This is the way I do business also, and it's awesome to see another small business owner here in TC who cares that much. “I highly recommend Traverse Body & Paint. Hit a deer and did a good bit of damage on our 24' Atlas...they not only got the vehicle in within a week and a half but had the vehicle completely fixed in about the same amount of time. Vehicle looks brand new! Leah made the process very easy and communication was great throughout the process. Will only use this shop from here on out...”
