Kayla was really helpful and kind during my visit. I was able to make an appointment quickly and had all my questions answered tactfully. While some reviews have mentioned Chase’s extra fees for services, that is no fault of the individual branch. So Chase policies aside, I really found the employees to be helpful.

Patrons beware! I have found over the years that simple things like surname, phone, and address changes are enough to confuse the bank assistants. They still cut my ATM cards to me with old surname. I have changed my contact phone with them 3 times now. Recently, I sold my house and had them distribute the proceeds across savings and checking accounts. The teller deposited the check short $100K. When I came back in to rectify the situation and ask for a reason, I was told that 'system' made a mistake and the check "reader" failed to read the leading '1'. I was assured that it would have been caught that night by the 'back office'. We can only assume she had this confidence because the have better systems and check "readers" at the back office? Or is it possible that they would have shorted me $100K. Every time I stop in to rectify situations I always get the hard sell to meet with a private financial officer to make sure I am "doing the right things with my money". What a joke. I can't trust them with my address (and now their readers have difficulty reading numbers on checks) why would I give them more to deal with. Smell ya later. Looking for new bank.

I have had great service at this location. My wife needed help with some transactions. Called to make an appointment, the person on the phone was very helpful. The person helping her for her appointment was very rude, unhelpful, and put the wrong numbers in multiple times and offered no help. She actually told her "why didn't you do it yourself or through someone else?". Which apparently is what we should have done. So at the moment we are not even sure the money was transferred correctly. We also recently had a card compromised and reported it but they put it as expired and not deactivated so charges continued to go through on it... I have had great experiences at my local branch also but it just closed. I'm not really seeing any reasons to continue banking with chase.

Brother went in and appied for a credit card to condense his payments. We go in with same scores & was completely denied. Makes no sense, no answers, we can't help you cause the decision is third party...

Really? An $8 service fee to cash a check... a check that was written by a customer of your bank. That is absolutely ludicrous and I know of no other bank that nickels and dimes people like Chase does!

$3 to withdraw money from the atm and you can't be bothered to make change for the meters?!? Having never been to TC, I had no idea all of the parking was metered. It was nice that the local shops were willing to make change as the corporate bank could spare none!

very slow and under staffed. or at least the staff they do have just stands around while there is a line for the single teller. this is why I usually use my other banks.

Big shoutout to Dan Goethals at this branch. Super professional, very helpful, polite and knowledgable. I had to drop in to add my name to a joint account with my husband, who had it set it up at another Chase location on S. Airport Road (he was not as happy as I was, guess he needed to come downtown). I dreaded that I'd be in bank purgatory while it all got situated but I was in and out in under 10 minutes and everything was set up perfectly. I'd been in one other time in the spring with my mom, and had the same pleasant experience. Really nice staff that proactively try to help people. Just all around high marks. *there is metered parking on Front Street, and also in the back. I do also believe there are a few Chase spots in the back (though don't quote me on that). *If you are looking for a credit card, the Chase Sapphire is AMAZING. Great rewards and double points on dining and travel. I end up with a lot of bonus cash to spend on really fun stuff like rental cars on trips to Traverse City. (ha)

I went in here with a lousy 6.00 refund check to cash and the teller acted as if it was the most important transaction she had ever handled. she was so nice and professional. i might make this my bank.
