Previously had good customer service here but today I got a call to telling me that the rental car I rented a WEEK AGO must have a credit card to pay for it, not a debit card. Leaving me with the option of using a 5 seat vehicle to travel for spring break with 6 people or find a credit card.

Made a reservation online and was called and told that they didn’t have any cars. When I asked them to change my reservation to a further day when they had inventory, they never changed my reservation. I shouldn’t be able to reserve a car online if there’s no inventory. Terrible customer service. Terrible place to rent a car.

My husband, I have been using the enterprise in Traverse City on Garfield Street for over 10 years. We use them less during Covid. But recently started using them because we are one car family. We did everything online. It was easy as could be. The staff was very good and helpful with looking at the car. The rates are slightly higher than what they used to be but the service remains excellent to use them in the future

Is not Enterprise being a little too lazy here? I'll answer your questions, but do not expect me to waste my time putting a review in writing. Enterprise should identify aspects of service Enterprise feels are important, and then develop a survey around those. Enterprise should not ask their customers to do Enterpirse's work for them. How's THAT for a review?

Rented from the Garfeild Road location, NOT the TVC airport. Booked on line, then spoke several times with some very heavy guy named Josiah. I called before hand to ensure that everything was good. He assured me it was. When I showed up, he ran my card three diferent times; $1, the cost of the rental, then the cost of the rental PLUS the security deposit. It tied up all of that credit until 14 days after the rental was returned. He promised it wouldn't. Next, when we picked up the car, it was POURING rain. Big boy insisted we walk around the car and inspect it with him. He stopped at each tire and made us verify that the tread "looks safe". seemed unusual; I rent frequently and never had this happen. Then he opened the door and he sat inside while he made us stand outside in the rain while he completed the entire rental process, which has always been done inside at the counter. We had no idea what he was doing. Just being difficult I guess. When we finally had all the documents, we left, only to discover many of the cars features were broken or disconnected. No powers outlet for cell phones. No cruise control. The back seat was littered with sunflower seed hulls. After cleaning it out and driving a thousand miles in absolute discomfort because there were seat issues as well, we contacted enterprise to no avail. we were told to drive an hour away to their nearest location and we could trade it out. Then the tire had a leak, had to stop everyday to pump it up to safe levels. Called enterprise again. We explained it wasn't safe to drive. They suggested we take an uber to their location and get a different car, and they'd pick up the other one. No way I'm spending a whole day of my vacation screwing around with their problem. When the time came to put passengers in the rear seat, the seat belts were jammed and couldn't be used. Hmmm... see any safety issues here, anyone? or legal issues? Enterprise remained unwavering. when we finally returned this crap vehicle to the originating location, "big boy" Josia was there at the counter and asked if we were all done with "that gem" , clearly implying he was well aware of issues. I told him about the filth, the leaking tires, the seatbelts, and he laughed. Actually thought my irritation was funny and very blatantly couldn't have possibly cared less. He told me that my frustration was my own fault because I wanted to pay with a debit card and enterprise "doesn't take debit cards, cant split the bill on a debit card and a credit card, and I had to drive home to get a credit card. Then he laughed some more. What a pompous waste of human life this guy was. It was by far the worst customer service I've encountered in a very long time, by someone who seemed bothered that I interrupted his break time by doing business at that location. I asked for his district managers contact information and twice he refused. When I told him I'll get it regardless of his cooperation or not, and it will only make matters worse, he very begrudgingly provided the information but insisted that nobody at any higher level will care either, much less listen to my concerns. He insisted that enterprise doesn't get involved in customer satisfaction issues (He referred to them as complaints) and said that's all handled locally-(him). He stood his ground behind the counter and laughed, saying "good luck, nobody cares" and "bye bye, see ya next time". BEWARE! if you're looking to rent a filthy, unreliable car with safety issues, and you relish arrogance and taunting from an employee who doesn't care, then Enterprise on Garfield is the place to go. If you want an enjoyable hassle free, safe and reliable car to rent, go to the airport and look for the signs that say AVIS, HERTZ, or THRIFTY. Josias lack of the most basic display of integrity, empathy, or social skills have left their indelible impression of negativity, distrust, and disloyalty with me that I'm happy to share with others. BTW, If th

When you rent a car here, they tell you to park your car across the street in a designated area. If you follow their directions, they will put a big sticker on your windshield, and tow your car. Customer Service staff are rude to your face, and they don't coordinate well with each other. If you can afford better, you should rent elsewhere.

Nice Vehicle. Problem was I got charged for gas even though it was brought back at the exact same level with only 11 miles on it. Also got charged for an extra day. It was reversed after I called but I found this very unsettling.

Recently, I had an automobile accident and needed a rental while my vehicle was repaired. The agent was professional, courteous, and the vehicle was fantastic. At the end of the rental period, I needed to extend the timeframe one day. The agent was very understanding. The overall experience was exceptionally easy and without any surprises.

What a great experience. I enjoyed working with the staff, the vehicle was clean and running great, the price was reasonable in this economy, and the policy wasn't overly restrictive. I will rent a car from Enterprise again.
