The room was nice and the shower got hot. Breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly.

This place has been my go to for years. Probably 40 nights a year. I enjoy staying here. Everything from the great staff to the clean rooms, exceptionally good internet (5ms ping 50 down 40 up) gaming and streaming is excellent. Plenty of tv channels (unlike the cherry tree) Breakfast is typical hotel fare with plenty of choices and run by the nicest woman. The great people here truly make my stay enjoyable.Rooms: Rooms are always neat and clean. They have high standards.May seem like a small thing, but they don't use thin hotel toilet paper.Only thing I'm not a fan of in any hotel is the liquids in the shower in the pumps. I understand why they use them I just don't like them.

Nice visit. Friendly staff and breakfast was always early! Didn't have the extra channels (showtime/max) like most Marriott chains but good all together. Funny during the debate, no sound???

Stayed at this hotel for a vacation at traverse city. The individuals that work here are greatThe boss/owner is another story. We attempted to tip on their digital tip service for housekeeping told three times didn't work. Fourth attempt same story. After leaving cash tip the tip went through.Attempts at remedying this were met with a "there is nothing we can do." This is unacceptable response.Still shocked that this was response for customer complintThis was in addition to a leaking AC unit that made out room smell like a dirty locker room.Avoid this location just because of the poor customer service from ownership.

I felt deceived. I reserved a one bedroom "Suite" It was really a one room hotel room with a partial wall.I expected a bedroom with a door so that I could let my wife sleep in, while I got up early to spend time in a separate room. Needless to say I wasn't at all happy to have to spend my early morning time in the hotel lobby. If I had reserved a standard hotel room somewhere it would have been cheaper.

I would go back. Next time, I will book directly with the motel.Never, ever use price line again. They cost us an extra $40. a night.Nearby activities: Center location for a lot of shops

Not one to really write reviews but I felt the need to say that one particular person working here absolutely made our stay an overall amazing experience. Jane deserves a shout out from on top of a hill, with her exuberant energy and happiness. You can absolutely tell that retail and people are one of her passions — from the way she interacts with you every morning and the way she interacted with my son. Her bubbly personality, dancing with my toddler in the lobby and entertaining him is something extremely special! Hands down, Jane is amazing and my toddler, husband and myself included loved seeing her every morning!

I've been staying here randomly for the last year plus for work.Staff is ALWAYS friendly, hard working, and accommodating. The location is perfect, best do much shopping, the airport, and a quick drive to downtown Traverse City, the Peninsula, lighthouse, wineries, etc.The rooms are solid, cool variety to the types of rooms (I've gotten a suite once or twice, had 2 TV's and a "living room" area).Amazing number of TV channels and streaming services, with included breakfast, fitness area, pool, hot tub.All rooms have a TV (or 2), mini coffee maker, cups, an iron and ironing board, mini refrigerator, full length mirror, work desk. They will be moving to a new building next year (2024) just down the street closer to downtown. Can't wait! Thanks for being great ?

I had a room block here for my wedding. The continental breakfast was great as well as having a pool. The rooms could use an upgrade but overall good experience.

Like other reviews, we experienced the mold issue. My wife and I stayed here while in town for a wedding. Unfortunately, the room smelled strongly of mold, and they were unable to move us to a different room. For almost $350/night, this hotel is definitely not worth the expense.

This is a fairly standard Fairfield Inn, and as they tend to do they didn't offer an upgrade (despite at least one suite available for the night at a cash rate) so your status doesn't really do much. We arrived late though so it wasn't with debating as the woman who checked us in was very friendly. The room was sufficiently cool and the bed was comfortable but the layout was a bit strange and as always, noice cancelling wasn't their priority when they built this place. However, the room was mostly clean and the breakfast was better than the majority of smaller Marriott chains I've been to recently.

Too expensive the previous weekend, probably because most Marriott hotels in 50 miles were sold out. I used 45000 points to get a normal King-bed room.I stay mostly in Marriott, wanted to book a Marriott hotel using my Marriott points and I was okay to book anywhere within 100 miles of Mackinaw city, MI but this was the only option. Not that it was impacting my stay but the thin curtains were both torn towards where they close, so it was very visible. I wouldn't want that experience when spent 45000 points ~ $450 for a night stay in a normal room.Very disappointed with Marriott this time. I had better experiences from a lot cheaper hotels.

Love it. Great breakfast selection, great staff. The rooms are clean comfy pleasing aesthetic. Definitely recommend. Slightly hard to find do to being set back from the road. However no traffic sounds.

Clean, friendly staff, things were all in working order, decent hot breakfast…my ONLY complaint would be the noise that was being made by other guests during the night of our stay. Apparently there was a sports team or school of some sort, that being said there were lots of running, laughing, yelling children & teens running the halls all night. Not the hotels fault, I understand.

Made reservation 2 weeks before at $109/night. A week later rooms were $143/night - so when my "no refund" reservation was made through the Bonvoy app - one could presume lots of rooms were available. When arriving the only room available was an accessibility room - usually no issue yet this room had no counter space in the bathroom & a tub bench that you could no leave in the up position. I did not request an accessible room when making my reservation- a non accessible room should have be put aside...Sink drain came out when I pull the washcloth up from the sink. Toilet base was dirty - see photo. Up button did not light when push.Staff was not overly friendly. Not the service or level.of attention I am used to from Marriotts.
