Where do I start. I arrived on the lot knowing about what I wanted and what monthly payments I could afford. Nick came out and started helping my dad and I. I believe there was a disconnect with what I wanted bc he skipped asking what I was looking for and went to the cheapest high mileage car that they just got in. 114k on the car and was going to stretch payments for 72 months for a 16k car. I don't have the best credit but I brought a cosigner. I could put 1k down. He was trying to work on getting me financed and was putting a lot of work in trying to get in financed. My first impression of the finance person we saw was bad and that she wasn't interested in helping us. She even was on the phone the whole time. She even tried to hand the phone to nick while he was setting up this sale with us for him to talk to someone bc she didn't know how to work a computer and find the other cars that were in the same price range for this person on the phone. I didn't appreciate the number of dings run on my dad and my credit which seemed to knock down our scores so it would help when we were looking elsewhere for a car. Also before financing was even clear nick called my car insurance and set up for them to start billing me for full coverage on a car that by the end of the day I couldn't even take home. I thought we were doing a quote for insurance but I found out on Saturday when looking through my emails. The soonest I could call my insurance was today and my premium is going to go up bc they can't remove the fact of the durango with full coverage off of my account. That passed me off more than not being given options in my payment plans or not being listened to correctly. Bc of this stupid mistake I am going to get charged by my insurance for that and I can't even fix it. I will never be buying a car from this place everThey cost me money and as a single mother to a special needs child that has to work part time to make ends meet it's going to leave a mark. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

My review for Fox Grand Traverse Ford is for the service area, in particular the Fast Lane Oil Change. I had my 2017 Ford Expedition in at the Fast Lane oil change last week. When they change your oil they check a number of other things such as your tires, tire pressure, windshield washer fluid and your battery. Then they give you a paper report on the condition of these items. They said my battery was in excellent shape. Less than a week later I could not start my truck, no juice in the battery. So I lifted the hood and found that the positive terminal on the battery was severely corroded (see attached picture). The corrosion caused the positive terminal to be loose and therefore a poor connection. Pretty obvious that the tech never even looked at my battery. I have had my Ford cars and truck serviced at the Fast Lane oil change numerous times over the past 20 years. I can no longer trust them.

Stuck during a flash flood warning and not familiar with things. A real sweet girl named Carmen helped me put air in my tires. I had just hydroplaned on a back road and my tires were low. She was so sweet. She even cleaned the brake dust off that does not come off very well at the carwashes. That was very important to this disabled old girl. She is a real gem Fox Ford. She deserves a raise or something. I could have had an accident if I would have kept driving. The last Ford place that put my tires on in May did not seal them correctly,come to find out. She is a real smart cookie!

Got a recall and they gave me a rental. After the rental expired all of a sudden the part was available with a suggestion of $3200 in additional repair. I declined batter was dead they kept it connected the entire time I was there and I"m sure it didn't charge before I picked it up. Barely got the car back to Advance auto parts in Acme and they replaced the battery free of charge. I then had my mechanic who is certified and shared with him what fox thought my car needed and he did all the work he thought needed to be complete almost 75% of what fox said for less then $400.

Just want to say that Natalie in the Service Department is by far one of the most personable and helpful people I have met in the field of customer service. After a tow company didn't notify the Service Desk that the vehicle had been dropped off and that they had thrown the keys in a box outside, she went above and beyond to make sure that my Grandmother's vehicle and keys were found, and that she had transportation for the time being until her car is repaired, all while assisting other people who were picking up and dropping off vehicles and answering phones, this lady was visibly giving the best customer experience possible. Hopefully someone in charge sees this, she definitely deserves a raise!

I had bought my 3 previous Fords downstate. I recently moved to the Petoskey area and had to turn in my lease. My daughter recommended Fox Ford, so I gave them a try. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end! I was kept informed as to the progress of my car being built to the delivery. Signing papers, etc. was a breeze, and John took all the time I needed to learn all the new features in my car. I even called him two days after I took possession and he talked me through the navigation system (again!).The facility was immaculate, and the people working at Fox was very nice! I have found my new dealership!

Just purchased my mustang from here today. And I can’t express how great of an experience it was to work with Dave Bigger. Of all the dealerships and salesmen I’ve ever come across Dave is easily the best there is. He never hassled me or pushed me to do anything I didn’t want to. Cory was also great and helped make the paperwork a breeze and got me a great deal. Will forever recommend them!

Was on vacation in the Traverse City area when I had a issue with my 2020 f150. I contacted the service department on Monday am and explained the issue and the response was sorry it is a 2 week wait. The Service advisor offered no help they could of cared less! C

I was in town on vacation and had an issue with a broken backseat passenger side window on my 2021 explorer. It rolled all of the way down but would not close. This was an urgent matter due to weather and possibly of theft. I spoke with Michele in the service department and she was able to schedule a mobile repair with Bryan. He came to our rental and did the repair! It took less than 15 minutes. The drivers side control panel needed to be replaced. Amazing service. So convenient. Highly recommend

Absolutely wonderful process, Nick was extremely helpful making sure I got the car I wanted and was able to get my information processed in a few minutes. Sue was very helpful explaining the financial process and explaining the coverage for my car after it left their lot. My car was delivered on time with everything all set, a few signatures at my home and I was driving off with my vehicle. Will definitely recommend to buy here, pricing was better than my local area, delivery was a piece of cake and they were extremely helpful through the whole process. Thanks Fox!

After dropping off my F150 I was given a Lincoln car as a loaner which was completely frozen so I couldn’t make it to my next appointment on time due to this. There was no windshield scraper so Nichole had to go and try to find one but couldn’t so she found someone else to take care of the vehicle since I guess they didn’t do what they were supposed to beforehand. My appointment has been scheduled for a month so the loaner should have been ready to leave at 0700 when I arrived for my appointment. Also the fuel was at half and I was told don’t worry about that but sign the contract that says it is full.Please advise.
