The store manager, Shannon, was completely indifferent about handling a problem with a fridge I bought there. I don't think she could have tried harder to do nothing to assist me. Canceled my store card.

We have ordered two products since buying our home two years ago. The first was a Butcher Block countertop that was delivered damaged three times. We finally asked for our money back. The second was a Frigidaire gas range. We took the old one out and sold it and were supposed to get the new one the next day. The day before delivery I received a recorded message saying there was a problem with the delivery truck and my delivery was being delayed another five days. I'm not going without a stove! I canceled the order and bought the same one from ABC Warehouse. They not only matched the price, the delivered the next business day!!

I want to give Brandy in the Shades & Blinds dept 5 stars but the customer service personnel were so rude, condescending, and most importantly not helpful that it brought Brandy’s score down. If not for Brandy, I would have gone elsewhere for my cellular shades. Management should acknowledge her cheerful, helpful attitude!

Home Depot in Traverse City, Michigan is more interested in providing customer service to contractor than home owners. I needed some lumber for my dock so I check on line to see if it was available since I live 30 minutes from the store. The website said "Pick up today" 243 in stock. When I got to the store there was 1 board in the rack so I asked a worker. He scanned the tag and it said they had 243 in stock. He said, "They must be outside. Come back in a day or so." I went to the service desk and told them the same thing and what the worker had said. He just nodded and said "Ya, come back and we will have them for you then. I went home and complained to a friend about what happened and pulled up the website to show him that it said "Pick up Today". By then the website said Pick up Today 212.

We dealt with John McKlintoc on buying appliances, that guy is amazing. Overall the store is lacking, 10% discounts not available on anything of any great value, think we will be moving to Menards in the future

This is possibly the worst run of any Home Depot in northern Mi. Most employees are genuinely pleasant and somewhat knowledgeable of their specific task. However the stores condition is the worst. Overly crowded aisles, misplaced items and/or products crushed by other items. Example:irrigation pipe crushed by a pallet of bricks that the operator was too lazy to move. Two forklifts in the garden section blocking products not too mention the aisles. Av3rd party vendor assembling wheel barrels blocking an aisle with his work and to make it worse through his discarded packing material in the aisle. IMO the lower level managers who try get 0respect from upper level because the store makes money, because it’s the only game in town. Forget about Lowe’s because all of its employees are seniors who hate their job because they are forced to work their to make ends meet.

Couldn’t find an associate to cut moulding for 30 minutes. Asked many employees and even got yelled at by one. Maybe uninstall your cutting machines if you don’t have any employees that can cut?
