SO SO OVERPRICED. They sell Walmart brands and similar products for more than they cost brand new at the store. No more furniture, no more books, no more kid toys-- it's just for the flippers and Goodwill CEO's greed now. There are better options in town. Place has just gotten insane expensive in the past few years and yesterday is the last time I'll even bother stopping in-- there's just no reason to go there anymore.

I was minding my own business looking at a couch and an employee came up and started swearing at me. She was mad I was looking at the couch. Then she got another employee to come over and mock me for looking at the couch. Absolutely insane these two women haven’t been fired yet.

They now charge a minimum of $5.99 per item despite the condition. Workers were rude! Do NOT BOTHER!!

Small store with a lot of "new" items from like stores. Very small selection of everything in general.

Anyone considering going to this location...PLEASE READ!I've been to many Goodwills across the country and this Goodwill by far has the worst customer service I've ever come across. Staff as well as managers are rude for absolutely no reason. Dressing rooms are closed due to "staffing changes." Ummm there's more employees in there than most Goodwills I've been in. I think the dressing rooms can be open or allow people to bring merchandise in the restroom. I love giving businesses 5 star reviews, however, I have no good things to say regarding the way I was treated in this store. Goodwill Northern Michigan, consider the numerous reviews regarding your customer service.

Good, very clean, organized store with many options, except special sizes which is understandable. No fitting rooms though! 30 day return with receipt and tags on for store credit. They had some amazing equipment the day I was there brand new. They also offered a discount if you or a family member are in service or a vet. There were alot of shoes new even and costume jewelry, reading and sunglasses glasses.

OUTLET SPECIFIC REVIEWThe goodwill has been pretty bad for years with excessively cherry picked stock (they sell online through the goodwill website and the good items go here), but the outlet was TERRIBLE.To be fair, the outlet only opened yesterday, so please bear that in mind when reading this review. The bins are very high, it's difficult to bend to get into them and good luck reaching the bottom.Everything is sorted. If you've been to other goodwill outlets, you know that's a bad sign. At other outlets the only organization is hard goods/shoes and then clothing. These were much more orderly and sorted. They had shoe and book bins. Cute. They've been cherry picked and you're not going to find anything good. We didn't. Normally we spend hours at the bins. We spent 15 minutes here and gave up.There's minimal stock. It's not even 1/4 of the size of the grand rapids bins. It's not so much an outlet as a closet where the stuff they couldn't sell in store (because they price too high, haven't seen anything under $3.99 here including fricking books, since pre-covid) ended up.They are only planning to be open two days a week for the foreseeable future. Friday and Saturday 10-5. Plenty of time for them to make sure nothing valuable is actually left for YOU to pick up.The only items we saw were clothing, linens, shoes, bags and books. There were no electronics, housewares, decorative items or kids toys. It was very boring, not much fun to shift through these bins at all.Bottom line: At present, for the reasons above, this is not worth my time, and I don't think it's going to be worth most people's time. I will continue with frequently going to the outlets in Grand Rapids and Muskegon where the outlets are better run and more of a bargain hunt.If you're looking for some good local thrifts in and around TC, the best I can recommend is Double Edge Resale, Restored Treasures and the Acme Christian Thrift, which is a bit of a hike to Williamsburg, but a much better place that's not so blatantly greedy. The response from the store below in covers some of the issues with the store, and the plan appears to be to only run the outlet two days a week or I am sure they would've included that in their PR heavy response. Two days a week is not a goodwill outlet. It's a money grab. Go to Grand Rapids or Muskegon for a true bins experience.

Donate clothes and bedding here. We filled an entire bin. I hope the new owner enjoy them.

I don't know why this is a trend with goodwill lately, but setting above retail prices on things you received for free should be criminal.

It's a nice store with friendly staff. In the past the store has always had more than enough to look at. Today I was kind of shocked to see bare shelves at Goodwill. Hope folks start cleaning out their closets and dressers, soon!

My wife and I normally like shopping at this store but after the way we were treated today by one of the staff I am not so sure we will be returning. We asked a simple question but received only snide remarks and disrespect. That is not the way you treat your customers.

I found 5 tops today. They range from $5-8. Shopping here is a good option if you don't want to go to a high scale store because I can always find good name brands in good condition.DOWNSIDE:the clothes smell horrible. That can be part of it as they don't wash donations. I wash these thrift store finds with grape seed extract so they are sanitized. I suggest that everyone does the same. Regardless, these are good options but thrift shopping is not my favorite. I prefer the stores or online shopping.
