This bookstore is wonderful! The older and special edition books here were all in fantastic shape and clearly well cared for, but there was also a good selection of more recent and paperback second hand books so whatever you are looking for it is a great place to at least stop in and check out.

Love this bookstore. Great selection of random finds, love that they have typewriters...thinking next time I might look at them seriously.
Landmark Books, Traverse City’s premier used bookshop is located in the historic Traverse State Hospital. The shop specializes in classic literature, poetry, Michigania and autographed editions. The store is owned by Paul Stebleton, a book collector and published author who began collecting books in college. It opened in 2013. Landmark Books also published broadsides, postcards and chapbooks under the Squirrel Cane Press imprint. They also offer a number of services including shipping and appraisal services for a nominal fee. For those dreaming of a home library, Landmark Books can also build your personal library.
