I have out grown sams club. It's like playing the lottery. IF they happen to have what you want then you walk out with more than you want. If they don't have it on the pallet you get less than you want (nothing). And it's wal mart quality items Then you get no bags and cashiers who take about four hours to place your items in your cart Then after all that you get examined by the sams clubs police on the way out the door And to go through all of this you have to have membership! I'm sure there's a Groucho Marx quote that would aptly describe the value of such a membership. No thanks

Earl in the Hearing Center was completely condescending and rude to us, refused to wear a mask when asked—despite store policy stating masks are required...We now get our hearing aids at Costco because of this.

This place is awful. Many people without masks, not being enforced. Several unhappy and rude employees, bakery person was annoyed at soo many questions asked about a cake. I will not be returning.

Today I was getting a Pickup order, and my car died. The nice young ladies loading my order offered to contact the Tire dept to have them jump my car, and one stayed to make sure I could get home. A nice young man came out immediately and jumped my car, and got it going. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated the staff for going above and beyond to help me! I made it home safely! Thank You again for your help!

You're Traverse City store put new tires on my car and now there's a knock in the left rear tire. The guy was a real j*** and said "It wasn't us, take it to a shop." We paid 500 dollars to a store we pay to be a part of, only to have them break our wheel and tell us to go somewhere else. Completely unprofessional and it seemed like they just wanted to go home early. Shut the doors right in front of us. Will cancel immediately.

They call themselves a wholesale club but twice recently I have tried to purchase a case of pork and they would not sell it to me. Both times I had no problem purchasing from GFS so blaming it on the pandemic doesn’t fly. What exactly am I paying a membership fee for? I understand if you do not have something but the excuse I was given was just that they would not sell case quantities of anything. Think it time to change out club membership and give Costco a try.

Sam's isn't even trying anymore since Costco opened. The store isn't as clean, the stock on the shelves isn't as neatly displayed, the staff is really disinterested in being there. The store is really like a ghost town and is kinda spooky in certain ways, as there just aren't many people in that big building. The thing that really 'butters my muffin' is the lack of staffed checkouts that are open. Yes, there are far fewer shoppers, but seriously, one staffed checkout with 4 people in line with semi full carts. Until I yelled at the cashier from the back of the line to call for another cashier, she was totally oblivious to the situation. Seriously, is common customer curiosity that alien to these people. The writing is on the wall with GIANT letters, Sam's had a good run, but Costco Traverse City will be their demise. And rightfully so. Needless to say when my Sam's membership expired in November, I didn't renew.

Visiting from Arizona, and having problems with my tires. Since I bought them at Sam's, I stopped here in Traverse City and had the pleasure of dealing with Bucky (nee Steve) in the service center. A truly nice man. He checked all my tires, added air to one or two and even got a new cap for one. Sent me on my way. Smiling the whole time. If you need help, don't hesitate to ask at this Sam's

Was in this Sams Club the other day and was shocked with how dirty everything was...employees standing around doing nothing in the front end, since the store was empty. Overall vibe, downhill...why didn't this location close?? It needs to. Would not recommend shopping here.

I do recommend going BUT we waited for more then 20 minutes all together waiting for help loading a trampoline into a cart and into our truck, which NO ONE came to help (after we had asked both times) so we loaded our selves.
