My experience in negotiating and purchasing my new Volvo was quite good. It was mostly due to the fine work by Mark Blandin. Mark was so helpful in keeping my offer alive through several levels of management until we worked out a deal. He has continued to assist me in working with service in one of the friendliest dealership I have ever worked with. He makes me feel like I have a friend in the business.

Jeff was fantastic to work with. He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about electric vehicles and the Volvo C40 Recharge in particular. This was the best experience I have ever had with a car purchase (lease). I will go back to him when this lease is up.

I worked with Jeff Walgrave, one of Serra’s outstanding salesmen recently when I was looking at the VW Atlas and Volvo XC90. Jeff took me for a test drive in each car and was extremely knowledgeable on the features, pros and cons, and how these cars fit into my family’s lifestyle. While ultimately we decided to buy another car, Jeff was extremely effective in providing us with detailed information that helped make our decision easier and was extremely understanding that we wanted to test drive other models from different dealerships. A couple of days later, Jeff followed up and when I told him that we’d gone a different direction he was excited we’d found a car that fit our needs. That authenticity and personal touch is something that is lost on a lot of car dealerships, but Serra clearly prioritizes the customer first and foremost, which is refreshing and appreciated! I’d highly recommend checking out Serra if you’re interested in purchasing a new or used car!

Sadly, this dealership disappointed us recently. We had identified a new 2022 XC90 at Serra that was just what we wanted, purchase price ~$71K, which is the most we've ever contemplated spending on any vehicle. Got the financing in place, wired our $11K downpayment to Serra Volvo, and all looked to be in good shape. Then received a call from Jerry? (not 100% sure of the name) and two other dealership folks, in which they stated "We received your $11K downpayment fine, but then received a subsequent wire request with your name/bank on it requesting to withdraw money, and have decided to cancel this sale." Was surprised because I've been with my bank for 40 years and know it to be trustworthy. I asked if we couldn't call my bank to see if they had somehow inadvertently initiated a 2nd transaction. "Not interested," replies Jerry. Then I stated that if the $ was a concern, we could deliver a cashier's check for the $11K and then proceed with the sale. "Not interested," replies Jerry. At this point, due to Jerry, et al's unwillingness to work with me and my 100% reputable bank, started to think they were up to no good or being disingenuous, and that they had probably received a higher offer from some other customer and therefore wanted to cancel our sale. I stated this belief to Jerry, to which he replied, "Not true, we're in business, we're interested in selling cars." I then stated that if this was true, they should be willing work with their customers through the inevitable issues that occur during car purchases, and that I strongly believed they were lying about the true reason they were cancelling the sale. Couple more minutes of back and forth with Jerry maintaining his position, and ended the call 100% convinced this dealership cancelled our sale to obtain a higher price and discarded us with no 2nd thought. I'm sure they are legally in the clear and don't intend to do anything else with this dealership, but wanted folks to know of my experience and to get "commitments" from Serra in writing as soon as possible. Has also soured us a bit on Volvo as a whole, so I guess we'll be reopening our search to look at other makes as well. I feel like saying "Shame on you Serra," but am sure they'll just look at their wallets and laugh me off. Good luck to my fellow consumers out there ... Regards, Dave Gaines

I arrived at Serra Volvo for a seatbelt recall and was immediately greeted by David the service specialist. He was polite, asking me if I was going to wait or come back for the car. I said wait and he showed me to the waiting area which was furnished with nice furniture, coffee, tea, water, TV and a USB phone charging station. The service was completed in record time and my Volvo was freshly washed. I must say that I was very pleased. I'll be back. ?

Had a great experience with Serra Volvo service and especially service manager Dave Feiger. My 2010 S80 needed a lot of work and due to supply chain problems parts took a while to obtain. Serra provided a very nice loaner and working with Dave we got all the work done at a reasonable cost. Good communication and very professional. Highest recommendation.

Serra Volvo, and specifically Steven Guest, have been fantastic. I was shopping for a new car for my Mom and Steven was very receptive and helpful in finding me what I was looking for. Steven always got back to me promptly, and worked hard to help me find the perfect car. From the initial contact with him, to the last signature, Steven and the whole Team at Serra were courteous, professional, transparent, and fair. I have never experienced such an easy, prompt, and simple car purchase before. Even with the Stay-at-home order in place, Steven worked hard and made it easy to take care of all paper work remotely.
