I ordered a chef's ? and boy did I get my money's worth. Not only was it delicious ? I had to bring the rest of it home. I highly recommend it. My husband enjoyed his Reuben sandwich very much. Well worth the stop for lunch. If we ever come back to Traverse City, we will definitely be back at Sparky's Diner ?.

The pork was cooked days ahead of time so when served with the rice and beans the meat had a very bad taste. My opinion only, don't order anything that comes with the pulled pork. Shame on them for serving it. I'll not be returning to Sparkys.

Great place for Hispanic food. They also do American breakfast, fish dinners Fridays, and Saturdays.

The mexican food here is top-notch. The asada tacos are my favorite. We always get chips and salsa- the salsa verde is very good. You can buy containers of the salsa verde nextdoor if you want to take some home with you. It's very inexpensive to eat here too. My husband and I eat here every time we don't feel like cooking at home.Parking: Tight parking lot but there's usually spots available.

I loved this little place. Went for a late breakfast on a Sunday. Not very crowded. Choice of Mexican and traditional breakfast items. The service was excellent. The food was very good and there was plenty of it. I'm sure I'll be back.

If you love Mexican food, this is the place! Breakfasts are worth going out of your way for, as are lunches.Dietary restrictions: Great options for gluten-free dietary needs.

We came for the first time on a Friday afternoon in Jan 2024 for breakfast food. We were excited to try the TC Latino Huevos Rancheros. It was good but a little different than what I was used to in Phoenix. Two days in a row we enjoyed the sunrise breakfast, side biscuit, build your own omelet, orange juice, coffee, huevos rancheros, and vegetarian tostada. We had left our hydroflask there Fri and needed to come back the next day but they held it for us! And we just decided to eat there again. We had the same server both times, a young man with braces. He was very pleasant and helpful, however, he wasn't great at getting our orders correct on the first try. My eggs came out sunny side up when I had ordered them over medium but he fixed it right away. I had asked for a side of hashbrowns but got country potatoes; I just ate them instead. The kitchen added cheese to our beans when we ordered a non-cheese omelet which was odd they didn't pick up what we were laying down.At any rate, he fixed the problems right away so it's a non-issue.The floors looked trashed and needed vacuuming after the Sat rush, but it was cleaner on Fri. Bathroom was clean. People were sweet.I'd definitely come back!

It's been a minute since we've been to sparky's.. probably 5+ years, and when we were last there it was a quaint little American diner. We happened to be in the area recently so we decided to hit up sparky's again. This visit was significantly different. If you haven't been here in a bit it is helpful to know that Sparky's is now also Taquiro TC Latino. With a strong emphasis on the Latino. With the new options, they are open all day now. Breakfast served until 3pm.The staff seemed to be bilingual. Northwoods soda was the served option, but you could also request glass bottles of Mexican coke. The menu was a bit overwhelming with so many options, since we were expecting american diner food, that's what we went with.Food was good, portions are VERY generous. Would come back again. Hoping to try some of the Mexican foods next time!

"Sparky's Diner" AKA the best-kept secret in Traverse City at the moment. While they do still offer some diner standards such as burgers and all-day breakfast, what they're really offering is desayuno perfecto, including the best chilaquiles I've had in a while. Lunch brings with it Monstrous tortas (Mexican sammiches), tacos, enchiladas, and platters like the crispy short ribs I had yesterday. Service is prompt and the kitchen and staff are true professionals, clearly passionate about the work.
