One of the best experiences I've ever had at a post office. I had two large boxes to ship internationally - the paperwork was pretty complex and I came in at the end of the day. I worked with two people, TYLER and BRIDGET, both of them were so helpful, patient and worked hard to get everything done to get the boxes out that day. I couldn't be more thankful for their help. Friendly, honest and efficient are the words that come to mind when I think about Tyler and Bridget at the Traverse City/Union Street post office. THANKS GUYS! Boxes made it to the address in time and intact.

Thin lady at the front is pretty rude and inconsiderate. Other than that, the rest of the workers are kind.

Most people I have talked to have been very kind, but a while back all I did was ask if a piece of mail might have gone there instead of my apartment. The clerk was extremely rude. He literally yelled at me. I didn't say anything bad. I just asked a question. I should have gotten his name. I may have said this before, but it's still upsetting and he shouldn't be employed.

Ordered a package off of ebay. My address is perfectly correct on the website, so when a seller ships something to me, eBay uses the address I have posted.
For whatever god for saken reason, when my package arrived here in TC, at this PO, whoever was running the mail that day, chose to not go to my house and instead mark the package "NO SUCH ADDRESS EXISTS" and send it back to the seller. This all happened while I was at work, they were closed when I got out, and the following day while I was at work, they sent it back. Didn't have a chance to go in and claim my item. Absolutely unbelievable. Seller got my item back, confirmed it was my exact address. No mistypes or anything. Genuinely, what do I do here? What can you do? This is an institution, what power do you have against that? Besides, it's not even so much the USPS. It's THIS USPS. I moved to TC recently, and I have never had this problem anywhere I've lived.

I'd give this POS office a negative score if I could.Useless and harmful!!Zero mail forwarded since our move last April, despite planned mail forwarding service.Lost check, 1099, and who knows what else!!Replace this entire office!

I went in on Thursday, 20 minutes before the window was supposed to be closed (posted on website and in the lobby) and the doors were locked. I run an eBay business - which required me to notify my customers their packages were not going out.

Absolutely terrible experience. I had an appointment scheduled to receive a new passport and made the mistake of going through with usps. I ended up arriving 10 minutes early as they said was required, and then patiently waited at the door for the remaining 15 minutes of my scheduled appointment. When I asked what was going on, I was met with a rude supervisor who refused to take any responsibility for the situation. Apparently the guy who’s in charge of passports just didn’t show, and they never notified me via text message or email about it. Don’t process a passport through usps, they can’t handle living up to their own expectations; there is no excuse for the lack of service they advertise!

1. The lady working there did not know how to open a P.O Box, had to fiddle around. She did not give me a email receipt and she did not give me a piece of paper with the print out of the address. I asked her and she wrote a wrong address. Just 4 numbers “4876”, no street, and Traverse city and zip code. The address isn’t even associate with this postal office.I travel for work and this would be my 5th P.O. Box, figured out my address, tried it out with buying an Amazon package and it worked.I started sending packages to my P.O. Box. Everything came with no problem except one. USPS online said arrived then said incorrect address. I asked them about it. The lady was able to find it and said “oh you’re lucky we were going to ship this back, your address was missing info, your P.O. Box. When I got my package is was ripped up, containers out of place. I was really upset how she gave me the box. You could’ve taped it, put it in another box. my stuff wasn’t even holding in the box anymore. When I looked at my box address I saw my full address. I told the lady my address is right here, it has my P.O. Box. She looked at it, “ohhh I don’t know how they didn’t see that.” -so you opened my packages for nothing.The 3rd and final red flag was when they sent my subscription back to the company. I’ve been getting this package on a regular and all of a sudden they sent it back for miss address information. I called the subscription company, they could not understand like me, the address was right, has sent before, address has not been changed. They offered to send to another address for free. That subscription company did not want to send anything else to the P.O. Box until the issue was fixed. I filed a complaint with USPS which has never been addressed. I closed and refunded my P.O. Box. (I still have those emails). I’m very upset. It’s ongoing issues with this place. The manager needs to do something to improve this place. It’s terrible and frustrating .
