Yelp has my location wrong. This is the Traverse City store at Holiday Hills and US31. I've had it with Walgreens at Holiday Hills. There have been one too many times I've tried to get a prescription filled or refilled at this pharmacy and been told they are out of stock and can only refill a portion of the RX. Other times I've been hassled about the insurance paying for the prescription. Today was the last straw. I came home (again!) with only a partial fill of my blood glucose test strips. I can't be without them! Called Meijer pharmacy and they're not having a problem getting the test strips. So that's where I'll go from now on.

Had a prescription that was picked up by another with same name. Pharmacy fixed it while waiting and corrected situation so it would not happen again. Great staff

Not sure what's going on here but cashier went to ring out my son and then told the rest of us we had to stand behind him to his right and not to the left of him because other customers may get confused and stand in the wrong place. There were no other customers in there at 6pm on a Saturday night. Very rude and a bit crazy acting woman. Was in here in April and she was going off on another customer in front of me. We left and did not purchase anything. What in the Darlene Snell is going on at this store?!? We will stick with the Walgreens at 31 and Holiday Road. Absolutely horrid behavior from this woman.

I don't have a problem with the store itself or the pharmacy, by the pharmacy staff that I got a hold of was a little abrupt and rude. I will now probably use a different store, maybe Rite Aid.

Lorri is so kind and helpful!! Very joyous! I was about to leave and she asked me what I was looking for and was able to find it for me in the back! It was like 10 minutes til close so it really meant a lot to me she wasn’t dismissing me for something silly so late into her shift! So grateful and thankful for her amazing customer service!!

Easy stop at the intersection, easy to exit based on the way you want to turn next (almost an ally between Chase Bank and walgreens).Pharmacy is really good with coupons and will take the time to help you get the best price possible. I had a pretty expensive prescription that I didn't have the money for and they made it affordable for me.They have a whole isle for seasonal, a whole isle for gift wrap and stationary. Lots of makeup and femine products. More than Roy's or even Olson's. A convenient stop in the middle of hassle and bussle.

Terrible service. My prescription was called in and only when I went to pick it up was I informed they were out. Pharmacy didn’t bother to call and let me know. They offered no help in seeing if one of their other locations had it. A good pharmacy would do that.

Asked the man at the pharmacy a question and he was SO rude and unpleasant. I just couldn’t believe I was being treated that way over asking a question. Yuck, Walgreens manager - please have a talk with whoever is working in the pharmacy on basic respect and manners.

They never have my medication in stock. This is the second time in a row. I called to find this out and the lady in the pharmacy didn't care, didn't help, not her problem. Meijer always has what I need. Told Walgreens to cancel all of my precriptions with them. They lost a costomer. Not my problem anymore.

I've had my prescriptions be out of stock when I needed them too many times to continue to go here. I recommend another pharmacy. Once is inconvenient but it happens. When it becomes a regular occurrence then it's poor management & customer service.

my 13 year old son had a severe leg injury and was in severe pain.two days out of surgery. the pharmacy closed at 6 pm and Dr. had script sent and time stamped at 5:58. i was on phone with Dr. telling pharmacist it was sent and to give it a minute. the last hope to get him medicine in TC that night.. The pharmacist refused to help or wait a minute. i guess in fear he might leave 5 minutes late..it was a long rough night for my son and pharmacy won’t open for another 1.5. hours. lack of compassion! at least we made it through the night without having to go to ER.

I was recently in your store 05/23/2022 and I wanted to bring this to your attention. I went in today (to the store: 975 w south airport rd - Traverse City, Michigan 49686) to get a script after seeing my doctor. (I just got a name change about a week ago, and my insurance was already updated with it.) I spoke with my insurance around 3 pm, they said I needed to have my Doctor put my changed name on the prescription, so they will cover it for me. So I contacted the Doctor, and it was fixed by 5:30pm. Around 8:00pm I went to the pharmacy to get my script with my changed name. I went inside, Tried to obtain my medications, to which ELIZABETH ROOT answered me with a nasty attitude, that I don't have one ready. I then asked the pharmacist about an over the counter medication, as I'm on psych meds that can't be mixed with certain medications. MS. ROOT had an attitude, I ignored it. As I got in the car to leave, My kids reminded me I asked using my former name. So we went to the drive-through. I was laughing as I explained the last name mishap, to which I was again met with an attitude, She found my prescription finally. She proceeded to tell me that my insurance company does NOT cover this, but I knew that was wrong, as I already spoke with the insurance company, I asked her to contact them to fix the issue, as it was on her end. She refused to do so, and said she would be calling the police if I didn't leave. I asked what I did wrong, besides letting her know what to do to get it covered. She refused, so within 2 minutes of her refusing, I called the insurance company myself. I had them on the speaker through my car system, nice and loud. The insurance lady was very helpful, trying to talk to Ms. ROOT, proceeded to walk away from the window and call the police, saying I'm trespassing. I really didn't understand what I was doing wrong, for good heavens sakes I was even doing her job for her. I told her to call the police. I was doing nothing wrong. They of course were going off what Ms. Root was saying, he came to me aggressively as well, Until he realized I was on the phone with the insurance lady, who verified I was not in the wrong at all, and had been on the phone with me the whole time. Then he changed his attitude from wanting to arrest me right away, to letting me and my four kids leave. My insurance gal asked me to get my prescription from the pharmacy, and to go elsewhere. But the cop wouldn't do that, nor would he let me do that, so now I have no idea how to get my script from there, as I am banned for life. I'm not sure what ELIZABETH ROOT's problem was but she should find a new profession, or learn how to talk to customers and maybe a couple classes on how to fill a script and how that does require her to talk to the insurance company. Now I'm banned from a pharmacy I have been going to my entire life (32 years). I've honestly never seen her behind the counter before, and she did act very new like she really just has no experience with customers or the process of Medications, Doctors, and Insurances. I'm very disappointed in Walgreens for their lack of screening for their staff members. They could have handled this all way better. SHAME ON THEM. Also: Pharmacist DAVID Z. even came to the window to tell me to pull around, I already had my insurance lady on the phone,, within the first 5 minutes of me being at the window, trying to get them to call the insurance. I told DAVID, and ELIZABETH I am not pulling around when I already have them on the phone, and the insurance lady was trying to walk them through what they needed to do. Why would I pull around, when the insurance lady is on the phone, trying to explain what to do? What good would I do leaving the window, so they can not hear what she is telling them to do. I honestly don’t understand why they wouldn’t just call the insurance company themselves, or talk once I got one on the phone.

Went in to get my mom a card for Mother's Day. Both the woman and the man at the registers were overwhelmingly kind and friendly and helped me find everything I was looking for. It's not very often that I've left a store with a smile on my face but I most certainly did today. Kudos to the staff.
