I love the clearance aisle I always check it out when I come to the store . “An old style Michaels, with close quarters and stuff crammed everywhere. I kind of like this store better than the modern, open design plan of today. For me, this store is easier to navigate and find the items that I need without having to go through a lot of aisles of endless junk. Maybe it's just me, but I hope they keep this older style layout here.”

She helped me find everything and even tested the paint on the contact paper to see if it would adhere nicely. Kudos to Sid. Outstanding customer service!”
“I love Michaels craft store! It has everything you need in a convenient size shop. The mega craft stores are nice, but Michaels is a "hometown" craft store feel. The prices are always reasonable, and there is still a 20% off coupon available to download off their site before entering. "Other" craft stores have quietly absolved their coupons. The clearance section is a great place to stock up on your next year holiday needs! I get $10 items for a buck! I love Michaels! Keep shopping in store, to keep this amazing chain alive!”

“I always shop here first to support local small business. One day, getting prompt help from staff, we looked together for the proper size C-channel, but couldn't find the right one. I purchased one that I thought was right from a big box store, but they would not cut it in half as I needed (2) four foot pieces from the 8ft. aluminum stick. On a hunch, I swung back by to ask the gentleman who helped me previously at Keck's, if they had a tool that would cut the aluminum and to my surprise, he did not hesitate to cut it for me. I was dismayed to find it wouldn't work for my intended use and due to the help I received on my first trip , I went back to Keck's to ask for his advice. Without hesitation, he took the pieces from me and in the back room applying ingenuity and the right tools, he modified the aluminum pieces for me to allow me to use them. The interesting point is that I didn't purchase the channel from Keck's, and he would not take any money from me for the (2) separate times that day he spent helping me out. WHO DOES THAT ANY MORE? Great store and very special service! I continue to go there first for my hardware needs.
