“I go to value world for the atmosphere and to relax and see stuff that gives me the warm nostalgic feelings that take me back to when the world care and there was hope still in the air. This has been a rough year so far for me. Not a lot to hope or xare for. People forget that we are our brothers keeper. But when I went to the cashier feeling numb. I was hit with and awesome smile and a great personality to gp along with it. Alexis took every doubt i had for the future with that smile. I had to write her a letter and explain to her that Angel's do exist. They remind us God is still in control and will never leave us without. Workers like Alexis are rare. Because Angel's are needed everywhere. Thank you so much Alexis. Hope is still alive. Because I see it in YOU. DANY.”
“Ok store, prices are better here than at other donations centers in the area. The employees are nice. I am sure when more people in the are find this store they will collect more donations and the selection of treasures will be better.”

“Never been to salvation army but I have went shopping and due to my circumstances I have to shop at the salvation army what a pleasant surprise large variety of clothes shoes swindle curtains my circumstances have me shopping at salvation army I'm so happy to see what a wonderful selection everything is organized everything is clean and the staff is polite and courteous”

“1st time visiting this store. Clean and organized. My 10 year old granddaughter enjoyed shopping there and found herself some cool things. Love when they have half off sales. It was nice that the cashier let me know you about the time frame of returning clothing. She mentioned it to every customer she waited on. I thought she was great customer service letting us know that..❤”

“We were cleaning out my apartment and had a lot of clothes and household items to donate. The Lincoln Park thrift store had closed just as we got there - they said they were open until 8 but they closed at 7. Same with the Southgate store. We tried the Trenton store and a wonderful kind lady whose name I didn’t get told us that she could take our stuff if we got there by 7:30. What a relief when we pulled up and there she was! It made our night! (BTW, we donated some really nice things.)”
