I came in today, and I was the only Black customer in the store. Every other person who walked in was acknowledged, greeted, or offered help except me.
I didn’t make a purchase. I left feeling invisible.
If Black customers aren’t welcome here, just say that. Put up a sign and save us all the time, the energy, and the disrespect.

Terrible! My wife received a gift card for her birthday and ordered some Jeans on line. When they arrived, they weren’t close to fitting as advertised. We went to the Sommerset for a return and credit which was submitted and we were told it could take a couple of hours for the E-Gift Card would be activated that was sent to our email. This never happened and we had to make another trip to the store because calling their home office number was impossible to get through on. After we returned to the store, the sales girl waited a half hour to get assistance on their company line after which we were told we would receive another email with an E-Gift card refund in about two days. They were extremely rude to me they acted like it was an imposition to wait on me. There were two people who were being waited on and one of the sales ladies yelled to someone that was on the floor to come and wait on me and she had a fit. They need a class in manners, I will never go back there. I haven't been treated that poorly in many many years in a store business must be great. Plus I waited 15 minutes which was no problem. But her attitude was a problem for me.

I was at the Ann Taylor store in the Somerset Mall in Michigan! I asked the saleswoman how much the jacket cost and an Asian attendant told me it was very expensive! I always buy from the store and have never been treated badly, unfortunately today the attendant was rude. I bought the jacket because I really like the store.

Staff is great at the Somerset Mall in Troy, MI. I’ve shopped Ann Taylor since the 90’s. However, the quality of the clothing has steadily declined, especially in the last five plus years. In the early 2000’s, they had a great buyer! Since the new buyer, the fit of the clothing has been off and cheaply made. Most of their clothes seem to be made for tall women over 5’7”. Almost everything is unlined, including garments that should be lined, like blazers, some dresses and dress pants.

Experience was ok. Although there wasplenty of staff no one came to help me. They were engaged in their own conversations. I finally tracked someone down. Got my item exchanged and left. No additional shopping for me.

Clothes are great, lots of fits. The staff there used to be wonderful and helpful. The 3 people there on 12/27 were probably exhausted from the holidays but that's no excuse to a) not say a word to me (yet talk amongst themselves) while I walked around shopping (only one other customer in the store for part of the time I was there-not busy) b) not offer to order or look online for an item they didn't have in my size, and c) leave the fitting rooms looking like they haven't been vacuumed since November. I went home and spent 100s of dollars online at AnnTaylor.com. Sad that my go-to store for work clothes has declined so much.

Horrible online shopping experience! When they are unable to shop the product, they put us on hold for more than 40 mins. Why is the product online when you don’t have the availability?? Isn’t this basic knowledge on inventory?Though most of their selections are good, it’s not worth it to shop online
