Had brakes done twice, pads and rotors. Calipers were good. Went back the first time due to squealing and mystery damage to the rotor. Had them redone under warranty, still have the exact same problem. Issue didn’t exist prior to having brakes worked on.

Very bad experience. Payed over 4,000 dollars they had the vehicle for over 4 weeks and problem was never resolved. Do not take your vehicle here. I don’t understand how a service garage can charge for work that doesn’t solve the problem and then tell you they can’t figure it out and not offer to give some of the money back. I took the vehicle to another mechanic and within 3 hours they had identified what was wrong. I’m so annoyed with this place I’am thinking of getting a lawyer involved or disputing the charge with my credit card company

I've been taking our families cars there for many many years. They have always been honest comma ethical, reasonably priced, and Top Notch service all the way around. I have absolutely no reason to take our vehicles anywhere else.

Poor diagnosis. Slow service. Waste of time. Waste of money ~$700. Poor customer service. No reason to go to this shop when there are so many others nearby.
I came in with a P0171 lean condition check engine light and rough idle. They wanted to fix it by replacing the intake manifold and turbo. There was no underboost P0299 code for the turbo and the turbo does not seem to explain the rough idle (when turbo is not spooled up). They replaced the intake manifold.
I went to pick up my car. Before payment, I asked if it was all fixed. Vince told me it was fixed as far as he could tell. I asked whether the car still had a rough idle. He said no. This was false and likely intentional deception. There's no way they didn't know the rough idle was still present. Vince was also avoiding eye contact which should have tipped me off to his deception. I paid $1043.57. As soon as I start up the car it was idling rough but I thought I would drive it home since the check engine light was off. On my drive home the check engine light came on. They just cleared the code and replaced parts I didn't need to fix the issue.
I later discovered that I been incorrectly charged sales tax. They also charged me for changing my oil which I never authorized them to do.
I went in again to get my money back. Vince refused to give me my money back and told me to come back the next day to speak with the owner.
I went back the next day. The owner only refunded me via check for incorrectly charged sales tax, oil change, and diagnostic fee. It looks like he was still about $10 off with his refund but I've wasted enough time with this shop and disrupting my family for this shop. My wife drove over there twice with me and our 1 year old daughter who was sick. I also asked the owner if I had gotten both the turbo and intake manifold replaced and they did not fix my issue (rough idle, check engine light, P0171 code) whether he would have given me my money back. He said no. I'm glad I didn't drop the nearly $4000 dollars they originally wanted.
Don't waste your time or money with this shop. Find a shop that tests and doesn't guess. Find a shop that doesn't throw a bunch of unnecessary things on their repair estimate just so they will have an excuse to not give you your money back. They were also slow with service. It took them about 1 week to get my car back to me.
I would have appreciated telling me they don't know how to fix the issue instead of wasting $700 dollars.

Came here to get a vehicle checked out and they were super honest with me! The owner helped me out and saved me from a big headache! The seller was trying to swindle me and he made sure that that wasn’t going to happen! He said “I’m working for you not the seller” and that was so great to hear!
If I lived here, I would be coming here every time my car needs work!!!
Such an amazing experience here, even tho the news sucked to hear I was glad he was 100% honest and open about the situation!!
If I could give this place more stars, I would in a heartbeat!

I had a real challenge. I had just received an unbelievably high estimate of $10k from the dealer to fix various parts of my car, including an engine timing chain that had triggered the engine light. I explained the situation to Automotive Authority, and they couldn’t believe it either. They quoted a complete fix of all that needed to be fixed for less than 1/3 of the dealer quote. It took several weeks to fix due to (1) parts unavailability from the dealer then (2) an oddity with then engine computer that required extensive, creative, and persistent troubleshooting to fully address. Part of what drove up the dealer quote was replacing that computer. Automotive Authority was convinced they could fix it without replacement … and they did!! We’re very happy with the outcome and were patient in partnering with them through the process. Very impressive!
