I would rather stick an ice pick directly into my eyeball than deal with this Comerica branch.Slow water torture would be a soothing treat as opposed to dealing with the slow, rude incompetence of this branches employees.Do not use this bank!!!

This is one of the worst Comerica bank locations around. This location need to be closed. The teller is inexperienced and the manager is afraid to admit that he is the manager. The manager is also lacking knowledge of banking policies and procedures. No matter your standing as a customer, they will not offer any type of help or solutions. They are the judge and jury of every transaction though they are lacking in their knowledge. Moving all my accounts to a more customer service oriented banking organization. There is no benefit to being a Comerica bank customer.

The owner of my company has banked with Comerica since it’s inception, our very large corporation has banked there also, for decades. He has sizable investments with Comerica. Today, as the accountant for this company, I came in needing a company item notarized (we moved our offices from Detroit to Troy and City of Detroit just needed address change notarized. Comerica refused to notarize it because I’m PERSONALLY another a customer of that bank. Even though I’m doing the business of one of their oldest and best customers. I made a sizable deposit for the business owner on this same trip, there was no question about the owner and company being a customer.Really terrible customer service, if you need FULL service business banking don’t go to them. I was able to get what I needed at a UPS store, yes, a UPS store had better service than our bank. I recommended to our company we start looking for a new bank.

Worst Bank Manager at Wattles and Rochester Rd. in Troy. He is unfriendly and doesn't apologize when he is clearly wrong and he lied to me. A few tellers are good but the attitude comes from the top down and he is awful. They do not care about their customers unless they are commercial. After 18 years, I could take their I don't care and I can't help you attitude any longer. Account closed. Go to Genisys Credit Union, they truly care and are always helpful. I would never recommend Comerica Bank, never ever.

Normally, this was a great location. Lately service has been erratic. I just spent 45 minutes in the drive through. It's just ridiculous. I have to say that even though service has not been the greatest. The tellers are friendly and helpful, and they are trying.

I would rate this bank zero stars if I could they have the worst customer service. Their staff are not on the same page at all. They had me cancel my debit card and told me it would be a week to get my new card which is ok. Now I’m sitting here almost 2 weeks later wondering wear my card is. I went to the bank and they tried to tell me that they told me it would take 3 weeks to get to me. I have consistently had problems with this bank. My recommendation go bank anywhere else besides Comerica.

I don't know where to start: A manager who is terrible, a loan officer who is either completely uninformed or just a liar and misinformation from people who don't even know how to accept a payoff on a Comerica loan. DO NOT VISIT THIS BRANCH. It is almost like they hate their customers and give them half information. A couple of the Tellers are nice, but the manager never corrects (or even comes out of his office) incompetence. Definitely am closing my 30+ year account at Comerica.

"We're not in the check cashing business" My family and I have collectively been loyal Comerica customers for over 50 years. Today I closed my accounts and my mother's accounts. The customer service has become abysmal. The following is a true account of what I have experienced: A few years ago I was waiting in line at the bank, when a teller was finished with her customer, I stepped forward, the teller informed me it would be a minute as she was finishing up the prior customers transaction, to which my reply was "no problem" to my surprise the teller went on to say, "That is why I did not say next". I thought I was following the line protocol as I had before at this institution or any other business where you wait in line and move up after each customer has been served. Clearly I " the customer" made some sort of grave error, I guess I should be grateful they did not remove me from the park. Moving on...last summer I took my mother who was ill to the bank with a power of attorney so I could assist her if needed in paying her bills. My mother waited in the car while I went inside to get this set up. The representative who assisted me told me it would take hours to go through the power of attorney and instead we could just add me to her account that would be just as good. The representative went out to the car and had my mother sign some paperwork checked her ID etc. and said we were all set. During this visit the bank refused to use my correct address as it was not printed on my drivers licence. I live out of state and that state only provides a postcard for you to carry around with your new address printed on it. I showed the representative and a manager this card but they would not correct my address. The bottom line is they insisted their policy was to only use the address on you drivers licence so they changed my address in the system from one that was never printed on a drivers licence to an address I lived at 2 years ago making it more incorrect than it was already. In addition they had asked me 3 times during this visit if I wanted a home equity line of credit and I explained I was only there to get the account settled so I could help my mother. Last month my mother passed away, in going through her finances I noticed Comerica was charging her 22 dollars a month in maintenance fees, so I called them to adjust her account to one that would not include fees only to find out they did not add me to my mother's account so the hour I spent with my sick mother waiting in the car was wasted and I could not access her finance to pay her bills. Only to find out later when i went to close my account they added her to my accounts and not me to hers. Yes, my mother in the car on oxygen needs to be on my account to assist me paying my bills. In the meantime I wrote a Comerica check to my brother who lives at her house to help pay some of the bills until we could access her account, he is not a customer of Comerica but foolishly I told him to go to Comerica to cash the check since I was a customer and they would know instantly the money was available and he would not have to wait for the check to clear at his bank. The teller at Comerica told my brother they would charge him10 bucks to cash the check I wrote him. My brother questioned this and the teller responded "We're not in the check cashing business" followed by "were not a party store". He left the bank bewildered, insulted and check uncashed. Regardless of their policy the side comments are rude and unprofessional and I was furious this is how they talked to someone I wrote a check to and directed them to go to my bank. For the finale, we went to the bank today to close out my accounts and my mothers accounts and safety deposit box. There was no questions asked as to why, I get that for my mom's accounts but no interest in why I was leaving after 30 years as a customer.
