I've had two disappointing experiences at this HomeGoods location, both involving a cashier named Robin. In both instances, my wife, who is Muslim, felt the treatment she received was noticeably different from that of other customers.
During the first visit, Robin was very friendly and went out of her way to assist a white customer, even involving a manager for a return. However, when my wife approached the counter, Robin was much less helpful, even telling her to 'get out of line' and check for additional stock herself. The tone and manner of this interaction left my wife feeling uncomfortable and dismissed.
The second time, just a few days ago, my wife received only a brief 'Hi' when she approached the register, while other customers were greeted with more warmth and courtesy. Like "How are you today?" and "Did you find everything you were looking for?" After completing the transaction, Robin handed her the receipt without any further acknowledgment.
While I can't say for sure if this was intentional or based on personal bias, the stark contrast in treatment is concerning. I hope management takes these observations into consideration and provides additional customer service training to ensure all customers are treated equally and respectfully, regardless of their background.

Nice store and selections. Wasn’t a busy time at 10:30am so I went directly to the one register open. Two employees stood at the front chatting, both walked away without a word or acknowledgment to me standing there looking to check out. Stood there for another 3-5 minutes while I saw other workers doing their jobs all around me, but no one came to the register. So I left what I intended to purchase on the counter and walked out. I’m a patient person & have worked retail for many years. Even if you’re not scheduled for the register one of the two ladies that were up front could have called another to their register.

Just like the name suggests, the place is good for Home decor, pots , wall hangings and other kitchen accessories.. Price varies from this location to others but it's not that bad.
