  I just got done shopping at the Oakland Mall Hot Topic and had the best experience provided by Ericka!
  I had to try on clothes 3 times because of my body figure, the clothes I asked for were all up high so the attendent working the floor, Ericka had to use the hook the whole time she was helping me. I felt nervous having to ask her so repetitively, but she put my mind at ease about my bothersome requests by stating that this is her job and she loves working it. She certainly did her part today as she was so personable and efficient.
  As I was done shopping, Ben provided my checkout. He was very nice and clear about the deals and how my money was being spent. He even provided me with the information I needed to leave this review which in turn, I hope helps them!

  The friendliest shop! Everytime I come in the associates greet me and ask if I’m looking for anything. They guide me to my guilty pleasures- 80’s toys! The sales racks always have great items to hunt through. Easy to get to from the parking lot, east entrance. Great rewards program as well.

  the cashier that took care of me (piper) was so unfriendly, didn’t acknowledge myself or my friend until we’d walked up close enough to them, the other employee just sat on her phone, they both just seemed so uninterested in helping me. i’d tried to spark a convo by joking about a nearby store not having a product i wanted that they had, and she completely ignored me. any type of convo i tried to spark was never reciprocated. they both were just unfriendly and it felt like i was just interrupting whatever they’d been doing before. i don’t think those are the type of employees i’d personally want at my store, and it just gives the atmosphere bad energy.

  The girls in there made me feel really uncomfortable. From the moment I walked in they were making fun of the way I talked and bragged about “actively making fun” of me. The girl dressed as a man loudly cleared their throat when she walked past me. Do better.
