This Place is not the same, I been taking my pets here for 20 years. The old man Vet/Doc is gone and so is the love and reasonable prices. New Young vets showed No love/gentleness towards my dog ? that needed a tooth pulled very aggressive towards my 15lb porky. Prying opening his mouth with a popsicle stick, cause more damage and made my dogs teeth bleed. I actually took over and held my baby boy for his shots. Prices are 3-4 times higher. OverHeard inappropriate conversation from staff in the other room

Very nice staff and I trust my dog being there for her check ups.

The good vet retired. They inflated the priced exponentially. I asked for a ball park price on how much they charged to neuter a cat. They refused to give me an answer. I asked what the low end of the operation cost and the higher end of what it might cost. Again they refused to give me any answer. They love to nickel and dime you. I literally called 2 other vets and both of them gave me an honest answer.

We brought Lincoln (7 y/o Jack Russell) in for spay surgery. We got her from the breeder after having multiple litters. The doctors and staff took wonderful care of Lincoln and she made a speedy recovery.

We took our dog in because she had Pyometra, the people we seen were good , but seemed like every time we turned around there were more charges , they did the surgery and thankfully it went well , but they didn’t call to tell us how she was, we had to call , then when we picked her up it was more then what was quoted, and then never a call to check to see how she was doing. It’s been over 2 weeks now and haven’t heard a word from them , just seems like the money matters not our babies

I have a dog that requires knock-out pills . No other vet would give me them unless I brought her in first. This place understands. Plus, they have very reasonable pricing

Have been taking my senior cat in for months. I was ready to put her down but the vet talked me out of it and I'm so glad he did. He treats my cat so well. Always talks to her nicely as he's examining her. Pets her tells her she's cute. He has an attitude of if this were my cat this is what I would do.He doesn't sugarcoat things as I request he not.Walked in not feeling great about things. But walked away feeling better. My wife and I are very pleased with this establishment and will continue to go there. Can't recommend this place enough.

I’m very disappointed in this place. As I’m typing this, I’ve been on hold for 14 minutes, waiting for my phone call to be answered to voice these concerns. I’ve been bringing my dog here for 3 years and he’s never had any problems. Since the new vets came in, whenever he’s brought in he’s treated with little to no care. I brought him in twice for the same problem, and the vets keep prescribing the same medicine or ointment that obviously has not helped him but actually made him worse. They don’t even try to figure out what’s wrong with him. The vet told me “it’s common right now for dogs to have allergies” but didn’t even try to test my dog for any allergies, and gave me the same medicine that they know they gave me last time. If the problem is still persistent, why try the same thing over and over again? If this were a doctors office and I brought my child in because of itchiness and rashes and the doctor told me it “might be allergies”, I’d get out of there immediately! Vets are the doctors for animals yet whenever they feel like they have to go out of their way to do something, they get lazy. I paid $430 my last visit just for this problem to still be occurring. I’m switching vets after this experience. I would’ve recommended this place a couple years ago, but not anymore.

Love the staff. Hate how fragrant it is. I have to bathe my pet after a visit. Her fur stinks. I don't want her eating all of those chemicals. Get some hepa filters please

Michalina (maybe missed spelled) was absolutely amazing. Well they all were. Thoroughly explained what was gonna happen before, during, after. Cinnamon had her very first piece of chocolate. They had the room set up for us and lots of different treats to spoil her on this day. She and Reese's mini, some peanut butter, cheese spray , and some mini dog bones. She was soaking it up too. But This visit was unfortunately our Furbaby last visit. The amazing employees helped us send off our Cinnamon to the Rainbow Bridge.Thank you to the amazing employees hereAlso a quick shout out toFaithful Companion Pet Cremation Services.

I took my dog in when she was not feeling good and was acting out of the ordinary when I walked in they told me that they would not take my dog in, she was clearly in pain. We had to drive 30 minutes out to a different dog hospital to only find out that my dog had a tumor that couldn’t be fixed and had to get put down. Never ever will I step foot in the place aging or give them business.

Loses a star for being so extraordinary scented that I got a migraine. Great service, fast in and out, good expertise, effective check-in and check-out. Real small, easy to miss, but easy to pull in and park vehicles.

Dr. Kunic and staff are the best!Short Version: I had been taking my dog to a chain veterinary vet for the first several years of his life. It is unfortunate that we have now lost our family pet Duke, because the care given at Long Lake Animal Hospital was above and beyond. Dr. Kunic cared enough for our dog that he reached out to a larger network of Veterinarians for assistance in diagnosis and treatment options. This included Dr. Kunic calling us twice a day checking on Duke the last couple weeks to see how he was doing. My kids who grew up with the dog wouldn't even do that.Longer Version:When our family dog Duke became ill, the chain vet repeated the same test providing what they called an inconclusive result and encouraged the same test to be run again. After the second test, with the same lack of action and suggesting we do a third test a week later, I took Duke to Long Lake providing the same test results. Dr. Kunic was able to identify the issue and start treatment. Unfortunately, our Duke suffered and wasn't responding to the medicine provided. Dr. Kunic then reached out to a network with other Vets (several times over two weeks) looking for explanation and other treatment options. We tried a couple but eventually had to end Duke's suffering. It wasn't easy for us, and we could see the sadness with Dr. Kunic and staff as well.I would certainly recommend Long Lake Animal Hospital to friends and have already done so. They are pet people who will care for your pet as much as their own.

My two dogs stayed with them for 2 nights. I sent in all my vaccination records over email and confirmed my reservations with them on the phone. The day I picked them up, I got the bill and was shocked. They charged me for services I did not agree to. They told me these were requirements for my dogs to board. I was never told they were missing anything when I submitted my vaccination records via email or when I dropped them off. (I was missing influenza and stool sample).Doing services to my dogs without my approval is a violation. My issue is not with the requirements needed. My issue is there was no communication to perform services to my dogs. I never gave approval. At pick up, I was given a bill that I could not dispute, $250 over what I was expecting. There was no call, email or text to let me know this was happening. I will never board my dogs with them again.
