Update: I returned and the experience was perfect. I had the dry aged ribeye with cognac au poivre sauce. It was amazing and that sauce is incredible. It's very peppery which I like. The Gouda bacon au gratin potatoes were excellent. I had the Morton's martini (2) and they are great with the bleu cheese olives. The service is excellent and I can't wait to come back.

I was a tad bit disappointed in Mortans steakhouse, I work right down the street and I passed this place all the time and always wanted to stop and try it so one day a friend brought it up and said that they literally had the best steak so I definitely had to make reservations so I went to Morton’s and got a porterhouse steak and I asked for it to be cooked medium well and it was literally probably one of the worst steaks I’ve ever had it was cooked well done and it had no taste so I had to ask for A1 sauce Which they didn’t have they had a Signature sauce that tasted like ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce Baked potato was good, but the brussels sprouts were burnt and terrible. I gave it a two star was because the drinks were magnificent I got three lemon drops and they were delicious

Our service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful. I felt the music was a bit loud, and my Cajun ribeye was cooked too well. I asked for a medium w a pink center. I was offered to make it right, but declined. We were given a dessert on the house.

Great meal, highly recommend sitting in the bar! Delicious food and drinks all around with excellent service. There's a reason, despite all of the nearby competition, that Morton's remains my go-to steakhouse.

We went to celebrate a birthday. The service was very slow. We were offered an appetizer no longer on the menu: Shrimp Alexander. It was tasty, however they conveniently forgot to mention that the 6 shrimp appetizer was $40. My husband's steak was ordered medium but it came out well done. They did take it back, but there was no apology. His new steak was closer to medium, but was chewy in texture and clearly did not rest for enough time, as it was served in a layer of the meat juice. The miso sea bass was tasty. The sautéed mushrooms and spinach was very bland and even salt and pepper couldn't fix it. We asked if they did anything special for birthdays and they do a free dessert (anything except for the chocolate cake). However, I doubt this would've been mentioned if I hadn't asked. The ambiance was typical for a steak house. Overall, the food was not worth the price or the hype.

Food was good, waitress did not follow through with our order, we were shorted a lobster tail, we only received one of the two desserts ordered...this was my experience and certainly doesn't speak to everyone who has patroned Morton's, however we will not be returning do to the lack of attention as it was just my wife and I, not a big party...all the best

Came here for the first time ever with my fiancée for a Valentine’s Day dinner, and it’s safe to say we won’t be coming back. We had reservations for 7:45pm and were seated promptly with attentiveness. Our waitress came by shortly after and took great care of us. I ordered an old fashioned to start which was pretty good, but I’ve had better for $18. My partner got the special valentine’s cocktail which she really enjoyed. We started off with the lobster ravioli which ended up being the best dish of the night. The lobster tasted great as did the sauce, but the ravioli was a little thin and floppy in my opinion. For our mains, I ordered a medium rare, dry aged rib eye which was way undercooked and almost inedible. I’m not one to send things back, but I just couldn’t eat it. To be honest I don’t think the steak was even dry aged either. It did not have the flavors or qualities of a dry aged steak at all. The steak they came back with was cooked properly and had great flavor, but I still don’t believe that it was a dry aged steak. My partner got the filet with lobster tail, and commented that the filet had some chewy parts to it, but was otherwise cooked properly and tasted great along with her lobster tail. For sides we got the brussel sprouts which were soggy, mushy, and lacking flavor. The only redeeming quality to them was the bacon they were cooked with. I’m at a loss as to why a place would charge $14 for such a poorly executed side, but at that point I was so hungry that I didn’t feel like bothering our waitress again who was so nice, so we politely picked at it and pushed it off to the side. Our other side was the au gratin potatoes which lacked flavor, had no bacon in it as advertised, and were on the crunchy side. For a signature side that was even more expensive than the brussels, I was highly disappointed, especially since it was a dish I enjoyed eating at home growing up. For a $260 meal, we could’ve had a far superior experience in Detroit at a place like Oak and Reel.

We had a wonderful experience at Morton's last night. Brian was a wonderful waiter and took really good care of us. He paid attention to all details. The food was fantastic. The steaks were cooked to perfection. We really appreciate Morton's treating us so well. Especially with making sure we get our favorite table every time.

Always a nice experience at Mortons in Troy. Drinks are tasty. Food is usually good and service is great. We had to send our steak back twice because it was undercooked. Not sure why they can't cook a medium steak at a steakhouse.

Overall experience was pretty good! Our server was amazing, and food was good. The only complaint is that we both got a filet cooked medium rare one came out rare and the other closer to medium. There were still delicious, just a bummer not get it cooked perfectly for the price. We also got the truffle fries, creme brulee, and special valentines drink which were to die for.

Came to Morton’s for a birthday dinner. Ted was our server and he was patient, attentive, and overall great at his job. The manager, John, came up to us after our entrees and suggested we try a couple different desserts, told us a few stories and cracked jokes. John and Ted made the experience a whole lot better just by being kind and personable. Food was great and the atmosphere was great as well. Thank you for the good experience!

I went here a few nights ago with my brother and sister. Mirna was our waitress and she was great!! The food was great too and the service.
