So I am a mechanic by trade and letting someone else work on my car is hard to do LOL. But let me tell you I am going back if needed in the future.
My exhaust pipe clamp became lose and dropped my post cat pipe to the ground. I do not have a welder at my disposal today, so I had to take the car to be repaired.
First they were super pleasant on the phone. Next they had a spot and got me in the door as soon as I got there, guess I was lucky.
Upon arrival I was greeted by an eager gentleman who got right to it. Asked for my keys and my car was in the air in minutes. They brought me back to actually show me the two issues which were not exaggerated. They made true statements. Told me the price right there while under the car.
Whole job in my case took about 45 minutes.
If I ever have something come up I will be going coming back here.

I've been going to Muffler Man since high school, and they have consistently been the best auto shop I've ever worked with. Sam, the owner, is the friendliest and most honest person you could hope to meet in this industry. He has high integrity and amazing patience to explain what is needed for your car. He also has an amazing team of folks who are just as great as him.
Every time I've brought my car in, they've done an A+ job, whether it was a major repair or a quick fix. What truly sets them apart is their fairness, honesty, and professionalism (I even price compared and they are the best in all of Michigan). Their prices are always reasonable, and I never feel like they're upselling or recommending unnecessary services. I remember being a broke, nervous high schooler with minor car issues that needed to be fixed, and he put me at ease and did an awesome job with my car. 10 years later, and he is still the best auto shop I'll always recommend to people.
If you are looking for a fair price, professional job, and great/kind people to work with, this is the best auto shop. Thank you Sam + team for all that you do!

I’d give a 0 if I could tried to SCAM ME!!! wanted a Resonator delete on aBMW they said it would cost 500$!!! I told him drop my car, I’m leaving he then told me 400$ final offer. Then proceeded to tell me you won’t get a better price. Went to another shop 40 min away in Westland and they told me it was a 150$ job maximum. DO NOT GO HERE THEY TRY TO SCAM.

I went in to get quoted for a muffler replacement and I was told a flat out the door price. I returned the next day to get the work done. When I went in to pick my car up I was told a totally different price than originally quoted. When i questioned it the guy working the front desk told me “the person who told you that price isn’t here right now” we went back and forth and he eventually honored the original price. I thought that was very unprofessional and bad business on their part. Other than that I haven’t had any issues with the work that was done.

I trust Sam, I trust his team. As a woman not knowing much about cars , Google is free so I always kinda know what to expect as far as repairs before walking in. And they have never told me anything that doesn’t sound right. Been to this place multiple times and have never had an reoccurring issue. Prices are more expensive than local repair shops but I believe that I pay for quality repairs and quality parts. The owner is so sweet too, I mentioned being hungry and he brought out a banana and dates to hold me over. These are honest and good people, that’s why they will continue to stay blessed. Thank you !!

I can’t say enough good things about Muffler Man! Sam, Henry, and the entire team were absolutely amazing. I needed a front brake job (pads and rotors) on my newer Mercedes, and they saved me $500 compared to what the Mercedes dealership was quoting. They even got me in on short notice on a Saturday and had everything done in under two hours. The service was top-notch, and the crew went above and beyond. While I was waiting, they even shared a plate of food with me during their lunch break. Highly recommend Muffler Man for quality work, great prices, and outstanding customer service.
