Training review only: brought our dog Marsh to the advance training class and will not be going back. Writing this review to warn other dog owners and urge them to use a different location.
We had completed the beginner training at the Rochester location down by Avon Rd. We had a good experience there. They had a separate area walled off for training. The trainer was experienced and taught the owners how to train their pets. The Troy location was the polar opposite. First there is no designated training area so training takes place in an aisle where people are shopping. The trainers do not teach you how to train your pet; instead they take over and try (and fail) to train your pet. One stating that our well-trained dog did not know any commands because he didn’t listen to trainer first time after he was taken away from his owner. Why would I want my dog to obey a stranger who has taken them from me? Either the pedagogy is so out of line with my expectations or this trainer is not actually qualified. Either way, it made for a horrible experience for our dog and me. This is not a service I would expect from Petsmart having been satisfied with their product, grooming and vet services (when they were located in the store). I strongly suggest avoiding this locations training services until they have a proper facility and are able to get their trainers aligned with the quality at other stores.

Not interested in giving my money to a place with dead animals on their shelves. Walked in, saw those poor fish and walked right back out. Do better PetSmart.

Ive had this happen a few times where i placed an online pick up order and after LESS than 24 hours of placing the order i get a phone call and voicemail saying my order is ready to be picked up. I find this behavior really odd, petsmart gives you about 5 days to pick up your order so if you call me on the 5th day i would understand but to call less then a day telling me to get my order is not professional nor is it in petsmart policy, i called and asked a few other petsmart locations if this was a typical thing they do and they confirmed it is not policy to call customers after 24 hours to get their order. This is really annoying and unprofessional i never experienced this at other petsmarts just this location so i wont be placing here anymore

Got three bags of bad dog food from them. Worms, flies, and mold in them. They refunded me on my card but the payment came in as 0.00 dollars for the return. I wont return to this location.

If I could give a zero star; I would. DO NOT come to this location unless you want to deal with a manager who is rude and disrespectful. I took my dog in to get his usual grooming appointment done like I have been for years. Before I left today, one of the groomers reassured me that they’d try and get everything done in a timely manner (she was a sweetheart.) Twenty minutes later, I got a call from Lindsey, the manager, informing that I had to come pick him up because she didn’t want her employees servicing my dog because he tends to get aggravated at times and claims he didn’t let them do anything due to his age. And then told me I couldn’t bring him there anymore. I get it but I believe that she didn’t let them try to do anything. When I went and picked him up, she rudely explained everything to me and then proceeded to smirk at me while I was leaving. Poor customer service.

I have bought 2 guinea pigs from this place. It's about 2 months since they're officially mine, but we have gone through so much stuff.
Overall, I give this place 5 at 5! The coworkers, stuff, and communication, purchase process was amazing.
This place also offers standard needs of taking care of guinea pigs. Updated information and strict rules before selling a pig.
The one missing star is because of where these animals come from. Due to their not being taken care of appropriately before moving in store, they come with a weak health background, and that result you as an owner and your pet to run so many troubles.
My piggies started to show some sign of URI infection after 1 week coming home. I had to take em back to Pet Smart. They went back in store, 1 for 2 weeks and the other one, almond for a month.
When they came back, they were perfectly happy and healthy, and the infection was all clear.
Once again! I really am happy to walk through this pet smart. But for next time, I definitely go for adoption in rescue centers.❤️

The DayCare was good.
But the grooming was HORRIBLE. When i got there, my puppy wasn't even ready. Julie was grooming him, and that was half done, and she bathed him and gave him to wet toe nails, which wasn't done right. I'm very disappointed and very unhappy about it. I tried calling, and when i tried to explain to the person that answered the phone, "FAITH"was her name, she hung up on me.

Fran what's terrific at her job. She told me and my Aunt to keep our receipts and she also told us about a book that was worth every penny. We just got a puppy and she took her time with us and explained everything. I couldn't have asked for better service. She is an All-Star especially for a cashier. She should be a manager.

I took my puppy first time they did great job and praised well saying that my puppy was really well behaved. After that i got a package for my puppy to get groomed at discounted rate. Later they gave me an appointment time. But they didn’t complete the job saying that my puppy didn’t cooperate. Also they told that it was Saturday and they have many clients coming in.
If that was the problem that they weren’t able to provide the service that day and time then why did they take my appointment. They returned my puppy giving half service. I felt bad for my Lily. Please don’t hide your lazyness telling is that my puppy was not cooperative.
I won’t visit ever.

Shaina Is hands down the best groomer. She is so kind and always very sweet. I've taken my dog to her for years. She always gives a great haircut and keeps my bby girl looking so nice? I really appreciate her skill and professionalism. I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else!

Charlotte is amazing! I am so happy with how she cut my very shaggy and long Pomeranians hair—he looks like a little bear. Scheduling was a breeze, she was very professional, and Teddy looks amazing. Highly recommend!!!
