This is a great grocery store and deli. I go there for the massive selection of European food stuffs and baked goods made in the store. Warm breads, pastries, filled donuts and cakes. Real baking professionals. And the selection of pickles, seasonings and specialty grains. Need spelt and semolina? Worth the trip!

The market is great for selection of foods. However, here's the one thing to watch before you leave the store! YOUR RECEIPT! This is the third time I have been charged for an extra item
or wrong price! The other day it was 4 loaves of bread, only bought 3. The time before a sauce package that costs $1.79 was rang at $7.79. I realize they are super busy, and the place is a mad house and the cashier's are trying to keep the lines short! Just look at your receipt before you leave!

Stale cakes are being sold with their expiration dates covered with red price stickers. These cakes are in plastic boxes in the showcase where a store employee has to hand them to you. No signs are posted to inform shoppers that the cakes are beyond the expiration date. I found this out when I purchased their Walnut cake.

The place is just ok. I envisioned more of an authentic European place. They did have great fresh baked bread, very delicious. Chocolates and candy are pretty much the same as you can find at Meijer in their ethnic food isles. Bought Russian sushkies, they were good.
The bakery did have some freshly made cakes and cookies, we got tiramisu (and we all gave it a solid C). Not that good, and definitely not fresh. Napoleon cake was not a Napoleon cake, although the store person tried to convince us it was. Cookies were fine, great with tea.
Meat counter was busy and looked like they had quite a variety, but we did not get anything. Maybe next time.

There is 3 slicing machines but they can use only this one, and line behind me getting bigger and bigger each minute ! It’s always takes forever to get some deli at this store !
