I visited Somerset yesterday evening. Terrible experience! I left the store so humiliated and embarrassed. First of all, no one checked on me while I was trying on bras. Second, I spent an hour looking through the disorganized boxes of panties and finally when I went to the register, the girl told me that my bonus award coupon doesn’t work. She made 0 effort to help me. Just said “ oh it doesn’t work “. Then this lady Sahar standing by her, butts in talking loudly and so rudely “ maam it doesn’t work it doesn’t work. We don’t know why “ . So I proceed to request her “ can you pls check
why and I show it to her on the phone. She replies “ No I don’t know “. Her voice was so loud rude and abrupt. There were 10 people standing there staring at me. She refused to even look at the coupon. I felt so embarrassed and humiliated. As I walked out, I could still hear her mumbling under her breath.
Somerset Soma needs a training in customer service seriously.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Soma store in Troy this past Saturday. Angela was extremely rude and inattentive. She was short with me, left me waiting in the fitting room even though the store was practically empty, and overall showed no interest in helping. The lack of customer service was shocking for a brand like Soma.

Atmosphere is okay. But buyer beware of the tyrade of the workers who will approach you because they see you poking at the nicely spread out panties. I had like 4 workers ask if I needed help all within my 2-3 odd minutes staring at disorganized drawer tabs and poorly stocked 'vanishing underwear' product. Not really impressed with this store's organization, and I did not feel welcome to browse. Kinda felt like I was being harassed, if anything, to hurry along and not make a mess (not like it was my intention because, again, the panty drawers were seemingly disorganized).
Rather than harass the customer, do your job and make the store presentable in a way that aligns with company strategic goals. smh. Was not my fault I had to dig around for what I was looking for.

Tara was my stylist and she was so awesome. She helped me pick out exactly what i wanted and needed. I left so excited!!! Id definitely come there again. I’ll forever be a bravo customer.

I was having a great time shopping until checkout. All of the workers on the floor were very helpful, but when I went to the register, I was met with Jill. I’m used to being treated poorly as a teenage customer, but never have I been treated so rudely and entirely like I wasn’t even human. I’ve never left a review before, good or bad, but this just left me feeling horrible.
I had been there for a while already, and because of the sale, nothing was left in my size, so I had to order four items. I was trying to make her job as easy as possible and wrote down everything I needed, but was then met with a huge sigh and the condescending question, “And there is nothing of what you want in your size here?” Then, after reading the first item I wanted to order, she walked away from the register without saying anything to me and started looking through the product. I tried to continue after a few seconds when she came back, and she said, “Woah. Let’s just do this one at a time.” None of this would’ve been a big deal if I wasn’t met with the same routine sigh, eye roll, and walking away from me each time I offered an item I wanted to order.
Jill then refused to treat me like a normal customer, ignored me, and made this obvious when another customer came up (who was being helped by another associate), and she began to make small talk with that customer instead of the one standing right in front of her.
Like I said, I’m used to being treated poorly as a teenager due to the stereotypes about us, but I am a paying customer nonetheless who was polite and open the entire time. Jill’s behavior and demeanor were noticeable to my brother, who was standing behind me and said something to me before I even brought up the subject. I have been shopping at Soma since I first ever needed a bra and have never been treated with such disrespect for nearly being 18 years old. But hey, I’m a kid, so what does it matter, right?

I loved my shopping experience at Soma Somerset! I am very happy with my bras! Most importantly, I loved the friendly help and recommendations from Irisi. She was super helpful, friendly, and kind. I went to a different location, but they did not have what I was looking for. Irisi at Somerset helped me find exactly what I had in mind. I used to buy bras from Canada when I lived there, and was looking for similar quality here. Well, Soma bras have exceeded my expectations. I have been buying and wearing them for several years now, and buy all my bras of different styles from Soma, as well as all my invisible panties. Please continue to make all your products!

They need professional bra fitters. I was measured in the middle of the store with my shirt on?! Pay a little extra and go to Nordstrom or a bra boutique.

I usually have the worst experiences at bra stores/fittings, but Soma was different. Both of the salespeople were incredibly friendly, and I was able to find styles that are comfortable with me thanks to the help of Sahar, who was amazing <3

I purchased 6 bras from them today and I am over the moon with the quality of material and customer service.I believer her name was sara could be wrong but she was awesome! She gave me the right size with just looking at me didn't even measure! I will definitely be back.

Reason for this point they have girl she had black hair she’s young and she’s white. She’s so rude customer service so rude. They’re not professional either especially this girl. They’re gonna lose a lot of customer. I like this store but I’m not gonna go back again ,before like couple months ago they have nice girl she’s Arabic. She’s very nice. .

If I could give 0 stars I would. They have replaced a staff that was polite and helpful with rude and “can’t be bothered” attitudes. To pay $80 for items and receive garbage service is unacceptable. I seriously recommend skipping this location entirely. Miserable people with no class or manners.
