Absolutely the worst experience. They are they unorganized and fail to follow through. We purchased a car, it was delivered but sent without the temporary tags. We called that day and were promised the tags would be overnighted. That was on a Saturday. Ok, tags should be in on Monday. No Monday delivery, no Tuesday delivery. We call back, and are directed to speak to finance, no one answers so we leave a message. We call back to speak to the salesman who sold us the car, no answer so we leave a message. We call back to speak to the manager, no answer so we leave a message. No one ever calls back. And no one ever has an answer for us - they just redirect us to someone else. It would be nice to be able to drive the car we purchased.

My initial experience went pretty well. I test drove the vehicle I came to see and was able to work out a fair deal on trade in for my previous vehicle. This was a Saturday.I put down a deposit and filled out the credit application. We made an appointment for the following Wednesday to sign all the final paperwork so I could take the car home. The sales counselor also told me that Wednesday was better anyhow since the "faster" finance managager would be in and could get me out the door quickly.I show up 15mins early that Wednesday and am trying to set the new insurance up but I needed the lienholder to do so. It was at this point I was informed that in the 2.5 business days since I put the deposit down they hadn't gotten to processing my credit application and it was going to be 1-2hrs before it would be ready.I didn't have time to wait so I agreed to come back the next day at the same time.I work offshift so I had to wake up early both these days as an inconvenience to make this deal happen.I show up the next day and while I'm driving I'm told via text message that my paperwork still won't be ready until 45mins after my scheduled time.I get to the dealer and am waiting at the salespersons desk for 20mins without any communication as to what is going on.I decide that the lack of respect to my time isn't worth the vehicle I was looking at and just walk out the dealer.The people working at the dealership are friendly and personable but the rest of the ordeal was a hassle. I can't recommend this dealer to anyone.

BUYER BEWARE! I've been trying to cancel a wheel and tire warranty since 12-29-22. As of 5/24/23 I am still being charged and being told I'll receive a check from the company as reimbursement. It took less than 10 minutes to sign up but almost 6 months later it still hasn't been canceled. The sales team and manager will avoid your calls. All they care about is taking your money. DO NOT GET THE WARRANTIES THEY OFFER! BUY YOUR CARS ELSEWHERE.

I was approved for a vehicle. I was told the monthly payment and term and they asked for a parcial deposit on the car. Next I heard nothing. Emailed their customer service after numerous phone calls weren’t returned. In hopes of a follow up I decided to visit the store. Once there a new salesperson tells me that I needed an extra $1000 down. This is after I already purchased insurance for the car I was approved for. I declined paying the additional $1000 and asked for my $500 partial deposit back. That was 4 weeks ago. My phone calls are never answered or returned. I came back to the store today and waited almost 30 minutes before having to leave for work and still haven’t received a return on my deposit. I use to work for Suburban in garden city 3 years ago and would never thought that the staff would treat a customer and former employee this way. I know David Fischer Jr would not appreciate that from his staff, especially here at the Troy motor mall. Oh and they just recently lowered the price of the car $1000 The worst service I’ve ever received in my life

Terrible experience at this dealership. No room at all for negotiating and they do every shady trick in the book to get your money without giving you any respect. I periodically watch the vehicles I was interested in their lot and they would rather sell their deprecating old lot at auction then to negotiate a deal with you. Go somewhere else.

Horrible experience is not to say the least that Google will allow me to post!!! Loan in hand… Charles the used car sales rep text me to come in today between 10am-4pm. Was turned away due to not having a appointment!!! This was the appointment, when you give me a “between” time!!! These cars sell themselves but lazy and sleazy salesman is a turn off and will be a past to come. Never coming to this dealership again and will be buying my car from Carvana!!! Thanks for confirming my buy.

Well I finally became an "adult" and purchased my first car! I worked with Justin, and if you can I would highly suggest asking for him. He was very honest and even poked fun and the corky things that stood out in a car I wanted for me (in a good way)! He made finding my first car a great experience and very stress free. This dealership is great too, all the people you work with with buying a car truly go above and beyond and are delightful. When it's time to trade in for something new I will definitely be returning to Suburban Nissan of Troy!

AVOID!! Extremely disorganized, unprofessional, and every negative stereotype car sales has. All around horrible experience.I called to see if a certain car was in stock. A rep named Valerie said it was and then double checked to make certain it wasn’t pending. It wasn’t. I informed her I was driving 4 hours to buy the car & was promised the car would be held. Halfway into my drive, she called to say she made a mistake and the car was actually pending. I started looking at cars at other dealerships when I received a call back from them. They said they had another car very comparable to what I was coming for originally and that it was very close in price. I was sent info and it did look like a great option. Due the prior experience, I had them triple check it’s availability. I explained again that I was driving in from 4 hours away and was told it was absolutely available and promised it would be held. I even called when I was an 45 minutes away to update them and spoke with Shara who confirmed it was supposedly still being held. When my husband and I arrived, we were informed that it was sold just minutes before our arrival. They were not apologetic whatsoever. The manager just shrugged and claimed their was no record of our calls/text and said their system must’ve glitched. Twice. I showed him the text communication and call log. His solution was for us to buy a lesser vehicle that cost several thousand more and to force us to finance for a minuscule discount from the manufacture (we wanted to pay cash). It absolutely felt like a bait and switch.

I received an appointment time much sooner than expected. The price was fair but who wouldn't want to save money, right? The service was great, and I'm back on the road again. Thanks, SVoT! I'll be using you whenever possible.
