After finding my ideal suv, confirming with the “live” agent the suv is available, confirming a 10am appointment with a member of the sales team, getting up early to drive almost an hour to get to Troy, to only find out the suv was not available any longer. We tried leasing a new suv but that didn’t work out. We came ready to drive away with a new suv only to waste 3 hrs of our day. If not for Chad, our sales person being such an empathetic and nice person, this review would have been much worse… We are sooo pissed right now!

I’ve been in a year and a half long nightmare with Volvo. It started when I bought an electric Volvo from them in May 2022. It immediately had electrical issues and I took it in to Suburban multiple times only to have them tell me I didn’t know how an electric car worked. The then service manager told me to “talk like an adult” when I asked him to let me please finish my sentence when he kept cutting me off and preventing me from explaining the issue. I took it to another dealership who had the car for a month and a half and figured out there was an electrical issue. With everything, I ended up having Volvo repurchase the vehicle through the Lemon Law. Now I have all these warranties I’ve been trying to get rid of for 6-7 months now and the financial services manager Jonathan Smith absolutely will not help me. He has been telling me since May he is “looking into it.” I’ve received only 2 refunds from the warranties and as time goes on, I’ll get less and less of the refund owed to me.STAY CLEAR OF THIS DEALERSHIP. The only easy thing about working with them was the purchase of the vehicle! Once you purchase, you are on your own and they are horrible. Awful. Frustrating people who WILL NOT HELP YOU. I cannot believe this is what has come of Volvo.

Gillette Warden in service has always been extremely thoughtful and made sure that I was taken care of over the years. He is a gem and someone who makes service more personal and caring even though no one likes to need service. I’d be glad to work with Gillette again if I buy a Volvo in the future.

Not to sure if it was just who I was dealing with or if it’s the dealership itself. Gillette made my experience horrible and I work right across the street at a dealership! I asked if they could rotate the tires for me since I had to bring my car back twice for a issue they couldn’t listen to me about and since they had two tires off already and he yelled at me and said he couldn’t do it then asked for a 11/10 survey? Unreal he cares about himself and nothing else. Will never bring my vehicle back to this dealer even though I’m apart of the suburban collection. Yelled at my dad too who wasn’t apart of this.

Return customer, seeking that loyal discount on a newer car! My lease was expiring on my XC90 and I decided that an XC60 might be a better fit. Thanks to Chad and John for making this transaction as smooth and effortless as possible. I love all the new upgrades and am especially excited that Google will be in command on the dashboard!!

Our experience at Suburban Volvo in Troy was exceptional. Our sales person was Chad K and Jon S (F&I Mgr), who assisted us with our purchase and made sure the vehicle underwent through the 170 point inspection (Certified Volvo), worked with the Dealership Collision department to remove any minor scratches and spent time educating us on the Connected Services for the XC90. Furthermore, Chad & Jon worked well together at presenting the customer the best options (Vehicles on the lot or upcoming vehicles), and best SAVINGS Programs that the customer could apply on Certified Volvo's. (ex: Costco Membership/OEM Discount Partnership Program, and selecting the right lender/financing); and the upcoming services at the dealership that need to be performed for your Volvo.Lastly, everyone at the dealership is attentive to All the customers and supporting each other as a Team by ensuring that all customers are having a great experience no matter who they're working with.

***Excellent service on a vehicle!!!!***I have owned a 2009 Volvo XC70 when Ford Motor Co owned Volvo. We have had very little issues with the vehicle but have always patronized Suburban Volvo to service our vehicle.I certainly have to recognize Broderick Cawood! He works as a service consultant, and really went over and above the call of duty. First off he wasn't aware that we were dropping the car off early so that if they could fit it in, with a cancellation(s), they would have it available to fix. He spun on a dime checked us in on a Friday (@5:00pm). Disclosed the team couldn't perform miracles and we're backed up with previous appointments. Called us on the next Monday afternoon with a quote to repair the vehicle and disclosed that it would be done on Tuesday (mid-afternoon). Broderick and the service team have to have it together to maximize the customer realization on their service department work! A turnaround in less than 48 hours! So unusual for a dealer service department.My Lincoln Navigator took 5 weeks for an appointment at a Lincoln Dealer to fix normal maintenance items and they would not accept me dropping the vehicle off early. I called Suburban Ford in Ferndale and was surprised to have my vehicle serviced within a week! I'm rethinking purchasing another Lincoln outside of the Suburban family of dealers. And I'm possibly very interested in Suburban Volvo for a new Volvo XC90!Broderick had a name tag on from Frankfort, Kentucky. I wonderedhow he got to Suburban Volvo? I'm really grateful for his work ethic and common sense. I hope he's enjoying Michigan!Broderick worked with a service porter to get our car pushed in on a Friday afternoon. Broderick today was by himself checking out, explaining services and delivering our vehicle. All while juggling calls and other clients. IMPRESSIVE!I look forward to seeing Broderick and Suburban Volvo again! I so appreciate all the mechanics and the team working together to make everything so seamless. They are so important and not interacted with sometimes..... l hope they know how important they are.... I feel all team members will go the extra mile to make any of us (clients) patronizing them happy.They have my highest recommendation!!Scott C. Morrow

His mannerisms and customer service was on point and should be followed by everyone in that dealer group. It’s refreshing to deal with someone of that caliber.
