We have been going to TLE - Troy for almost 3 years now (with multiple kids). Melissa and Tanya at the front desk are so kind and welcoming! They know every kids name and are always smiling. Any concerns you may have are quickly and professionally addressed. I love that snacks and lunch are provided making it easy for parents and the summer water days are a fan favorite!

TLE Troy is more than a daycare or preschool. It is an opportunity. If there is space for your child it should be a no brainer. We have had children in the school since 2017. The TLE franchise, the owners, and center director are all excellent. Melissa is personable and professional. She takes interest in the journey of every student. The school employs accomplished faculty. It is a clean, well run, and truly inclusive environment. The classes are composed of an array of cultures. We are one of many multi-ethnic families. Our children have thrived there. I feel lucky that my children could experience such dedicated care and engaging curriculum while playing with friends.

If I could post ZERO stars I would! Melissa is super racist and I wouldn’t bring a child there if you are of color. A few teachers were ok and they throw in a token black to work as a teacher’s aide, smh but overall it’s a racist school. Horrible experience for a parent to put their child through. The treatment was racially motivated and I feel that the child was discriminated against. Do NOT take your child here!

Money Hungry Director… The tuition is outrageous and most of the teachers don’t even have a degree in early childhood development for that matter. The teachers are overworked and underpaid. We removed our student period. The school is crumbling and the fence where the children play has been broken for months.

The Learning Experience - Troy has been part of our family for 5 years. Both of our boys went there. They had a wonderful experience and learned so much! We are very thankful to all of the teachers for their patience, warmth, and love. We also appreciate management (Kelly, Melissa and Tanya) for making everything so easy and for the great environment our kids were a part of. Thank you TLE family!

Our daughter attended The Learning Experience in Troy from 3 months to 4 and a half years old. She experienced almost every classroom, and we have nothing but great things to say about the TLE management, teachers, and curriculum. They are extremely flexible and accommodating as well as friendly and thorough. The foundation that was set for her educational and social skills success is greatly appreciated.

We switched to TLE of Troy in 2018 from a daycare we were very unhappy with. We had odd schedules and TLE of Troy was more than accommodating. We started seeing our kids involved in more activities and projects then our old daycare. Picking up after hours I got to see how much effort goes into keeping the facilities clean when the kids leave. This was a major issue we had with our previous center that would often have an entire room out sick at once. We stayed until my oldest son went to Kindergarten. Thanks for all the hard work :)

As first time parents, it wasn't an easy decision to drop our daughter at the care of others. From Day 1, TLE has gone above and beyond to make us feel comfortable about that decision. From a 7 month old infant to a happy little 5 year old, my daughter transitioned through every single class at TLE. The care and love provided was clear from my daughter's excitement to go to school every single day. I owe it to TLE for the positive and enthusiastic attitude she has for education and school in general. At this point my daughter is a very happy Kindergartener who is excited to make new friends, learn and grow. Thank you TLE!!

Our 3 year old went to learning experience Troy for about an year. However, things changed when he was shifted from toddler room to prepper room. He started crying at drop offs suddenly. We were trying to figure out why this sudden change as he is used to going to day care. Also, we noticed the two teachers in the prepper room (Mother and Daughter both are teachers in the same room) were very unfriendly. They would not even greet you during drop off or pick ups. In fact, there were times when they didn't even notice when I entered the room, Picked up my son and left. The vibe of that room felt very ignored and neglected. Another day, I noticed the same teacher scolding a child very badly. I was stunned to see that and started connecting dots as to why my son is suddenly so scared of day care. The same day that teacher started complaining about my child, when I asked her why he is suddenly so scared of day care. I was shocked to hear her allegations (Cannot even mention here what she said) against a child. I literally took my son back to home that very moment and raised the concern with the management. Even more shocking was management's reaction to it and they didn't even care to apologize about the situation.Taking my Son away from that room was the best decision ever. I have seen so many positive changes in him ever since. I would not recommend this day care to anybody who cares about their children.

TLE-troy is my son’s fist daycare and he absolutely loved the place. Owner Kelly and the director Melissa are very friendly. His class teachers Miss Emily, Adrian and other teachers are exceptionally nice people and I always felt that my son was in safe hands.

TLE-Troy is top notch. My son has been going here since he was 3 months old. The teachers are the best and very caring. We only had one issue with a not so good teacher and TLE resolved that issue within a month after parents were complaining. My son is about to graduate from TLE and go to elementary school for Kindergarden. I went to my sons orientation for kindergarden at the elementary school and found that he will be doing things that he has already done at TLE. I'm very impressed with how advanced my son is in his education due to TLE... TLE is also one of the cheapest daycare we found when we were looking for daycares in the Troy area... It's the best decision we've done for my son and his education is more advanced than most of the kids that will be going to his kindergarden.

The worst experience ever , i feel so guilty that i had to put my little one through this , he was almost three , super happy and friendly. First teacher was ok the first week but then they changed her . The new teacher was an old racist woman, she was so rude with me and with my kid , putting him to time out for no reason , on valentines he got her a flower and when he was happy giving her the flower , she didn’t even look at him . When we arrive at morning the kids would say hi to my son, she yells at them and shush them . Lastly he was playing superman with her pretending, she thought he was spitting on her ( because of the sounds he was making)so she put him on time out , my son apologized but she didn’t even care or say anything, and then when i tried to explain what he was doing she kicked me out of the class ,I spoke to the front desk and told them they were very cold and i signed out , after a month , I heard that the teacher was fired , so many complains from the mothers , I expected a call from the school , in case we wanted to go back, but they didn’t care to do that.I put my son in the public preschool and it was the best thing ever.

I am the new Owner and Business Manager of The Learning Experience of Troy as of December 2016. It was formerly corporate owned. I have been a parent here since 2013 and still have two boys attending the center. My husband and I were impressed with what TLE offers and wanted to become a part of it as business owners. When the opportunity came to own Troy, we jumped at the chance. We are very happy here as parents and are working very hard to keep our center top quality in the area. Give us a call for more information or come by to see us!
